Was the car in dyno mode? That may have been why you were experiencing that issue
Yes the car was in dyno mode. I believe the issue was that in my transmission tune there is a setting to turn off kick down. I need to re-flash the car with kick down off.

@@zach.f30 me too. Once I get some more mods I’ll dyno it again and have the car flashed. I definitely will keep making more videos. Imma try and make a video every month.

theres a guy on yt making nearly 400hp on an n20, crazy this but barely edges it
I used to have a n20 and it’s definitely possible with a bigger turbo. Navardi Tunes has the most info about n20s and they’re capability. But the only problem is I’ve heard of a lot of guys going that route and blowing the engine. Even if they upgraded the internals. 🤷🏼♂️ I’d be sticking with stage 2 on the n20
@@duncancheeves I agree, the 400hp was on stock engine, but the issues with the n20 imo is the stability of the bottom, it's a balancing issue, a good stage 2 to 380hp is probably safe outside of the normal maintenance like timing guide
@@tgshark1 I totally agree. Yeah I was probably making 330hp to the crank on a stage 2 e30 bootmod3 tune. It was definitely fun for the car. I’m planning on taking this 335i to close to 500whp at some point. With upgraded turbos and some fueling.
Nah man n20s are like glass.. good for a few bolt ons but let the guys just stick with stage 2 93 tunes and mess around with c43's and some stock hemi's lol

Can’t push tons of power on 93 and he’s running 21 psi. He’s going back to the dyno on e40 same boost soon I’ll post a video and show the results.

#2 - get a dragy or go to your local track and prove it.
#3 - I’ve had a stock fueling N55, trust me that car won’t put up the numbers (1/4 mile or 60-130) that my N55 does. I’ve had that same exact map.

@@sunbish You are absolutely correct. It is literally impossible to get 400WHP out of an N55 without upgrading the fuel pump. Realistically most EWG N55's top out at 360WHP and you can get a little bit more running E30. Also it literally says on the dyno sheet, there's a 1.08 correction factor. That alone is inflating the figure by about ~40HP. I understand CF is used to factor in altitude etc to get a more accurate result, but alot of shops use this to make owners extra happy.
