One question kev, I’ve seen you talk about hometime in other videos. If you choose to stay out for 2-3 weeks at a time, do they allow extra hometime.
Say if you regularly get 35-50 hours on the weekend after 1 week out, could I take 4 days after staying out for 2 weeks?

BTW, I got an offer from Cypress Transport Lines. I need to ask more questions though. One big thing is they aren’t ridiculous on the physical requirements test. No deadlifting 120# tarp up onto your shoulder. No bounding up onto the flatbed onto your belly like you’re doing parkour or gymnastics. And they said 90% of their loads are pre-tarped. Those are good reasons for me to lean toward them, all other things being equal. Of course, that black and chrome Pete has some weigh in the equation, too. 😄

Irish Man 3mph ain’t that big of a deal and around towns it doesn’t matter and as a rookie it is safer. Now those trucks going 68-70 they get there quicker. We rag and make fun of it because we can. Maverick is a good company though

@OTC; TMC has the prettiest slow trucks (or is it the other way around?) on the highway.

Irish Man I agree. That’s the only thing keeping them off my list.
