How to Delete Your Cash App Account

Let me show you how to delete your Cash App account.

First, ensure you withdraw any remaining money from your account. On the bottom left-hand side of the main screen, tap the little bank icon. If there is a dollar amount displayed, withdraw those funds to clear your balance.
Once your money is withdrawn, click the person icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen. This will bring you to your account information, where you can see your name, profile picture, and other details. Scroll down to find "Support" under the "Accounts and Settings" section and tap on it.
In the Support menu, use the search bar to type "close account." Select the option "Close your Cash App account" from the search results. You will see a message explaining that closing your account will disable your Cash Tag, prevent payments, and sign you out of all sessions. Cash App is legally required to keep some transaction records and account information.
If you wish to proceed, tap "Confirm." Your account will now be permanently deleted. You can now uninstall the app from your phone if you no longer need it.
