Never use a hotel's Wi-Fi. And if you do ask the hotel what type of provider they have and what security system they Is half . And never give your real gmail or email accoun. That's easy pickings for hackers

Ok so a stranger got ahold of my husbands first name only, address, and gave him a number to call.. so I’m guessing they have his phone number. After this happened some things didn’t add up to his story.
What should we be worried about here? I typed in our address and his first name and google pulls up his birthday mo and year. Along with last name and confirmed phone number with list of family… should we be watching for scam calls, emails, mail? Or household thief’s. Would changing phone number be good idea . It would be a big deal in our case so don’t wanna do it unless it’s worth it .

Well if it helps, nothing turned up happening for us. My husband ended up talking to the local sheriff because they was trying to stop the guy from bumming off of people. And the detective of the department told my husband the info he gave him is available on pretty much any online search. And as far as the phone call, he said prob just a lie . Hope that makes u feel better!
