- Here is my full review of Scream VI, the latest film in the Scream franchise! Scream 6 hits theaters this Friday, March 10.
The movie stars Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Courtney Cox, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Hayden Panettiere, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Tony Revolori, Samara Weaving and Dermot Mulroney.

I’m maybe travelling to Belgium (S6 is rated 16 in The Netherlands and I’m under 16 so ~ReStRiCtEd~) just to see this and I really can’t wait! The positive media reaction is really making me excited!

I watched it yesterday . I was a little underwhelmed about the reveal but when I found out about the motive , it did make sense and I was ok with it . I really did enjoy the film though .

@@FilmStocked Just saw the movie and it's my favorite movie of the year so far too and nothing comes close. It's on par with the original as my favorite Scream movie.
I just watched this and I thought it was so good! They were very clever in the writing to not flop the sixth in the franchise.
Now I’m very excited to see the film. I was worried that it would end up being disappointing. After this review, however, I can confidently say that I have a positive feeling about this movie

I think the reason Scream VI doesn’t get repetitive is (haven’t seen it but this is what I think) because all of the new characters. The legacy sequel (5) came at the right time and this one is probably really great!
The new main characters rule! They can carry this franchise for multiple future movies
Hey, I have never seen Screams before, and is it like Halloween Franchise?
I mean it has a Guy Who kills a lot of people but other than that not really, it’s more like a Mystery

Walked in expecting it to be good. Walked out thinking it was great. Definitely one of the better sequels in the franchise since the original for me.

I like Scream, but I'm pretty sure Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning will destroy Scream 6 at the box office

Can we stop saying Sydney is the lead. She hasn’t been the lead since Scream 2. She was barely the lead in 3, hardly the lead in 4, barely in 5 and not even in 6. SHE IS NOT THE LEAD.

Yeah, I could see her coming back in scream 7 if they plan to make Stu Macher come back. Appereantly Nev has signed something with Radio Silence. We don't know if it's Scream related but she has agreed to something.
Absolutely not even close to the best Scream movie. Anyone who thinks that hasn’t watch previous Scream movies. Ghostface is better than he’s ever been, but the writing is as bad as it’s ever been. Gutless.
How was it exactly bad writing? Because In my opinion this is definitely one of the better sequels that had pretty good twists and turns.

Because the writers were gutless. There were literally no stakes in this movie. Everyone lived and that was stupid. Chad showing up alive at the end again? So dumb. Ghostface not killing Mindy when he had her right there on the train? Even more dumb. Those two and Gale should have died. They made a mockery of Ghostface all because they didn’t want to upset fans. That’s bad writing.
@@EnjoyerofMiserableMarinersBsbl I guess we can agree to disagree. I was more of a fan on how fresh this new Scream felt compared to the last one and how much more tense I felt watching this one. As much as it probably would have been more of an experience having at least one character die, I think this Scream still captured what Scream is all about in a pretty good way.
@@brandonayala4605 the movie was really good until the end. The action and the kills were awesome. The way they used NYC’s environment? Awesome. The end? Especially with Chad? Terrible. But I hate all of these characters; especially Mindy. I was rooting for Ghostface.
@@EnjoyerofMiserableMarinersBsbl I liked some of the characters, but I have to agree that it was a weak ending, it just left me empty. Some characters are weaker but I think that they are decent overall. I agree that the Chad scene should have been changed if he was meant to survive.
No. It’s not the “best Scream movie to date” people are really starting to lower their standards these days and it’s very sad. The original will forever be the best Scream movie to date and will never be topped. Absolute classic and a Horror masterpiece that’s put up there with the best Horror movies ever like Halloween and A Nightmare on Elm Street
I would say it’s probably the best sequel. I agree though nothing can beat the original due to nostalgia and how it changed horror.

It’s also sad that people cling to the original so much that they can never enjoy another scream movie with the same passion. It’s not that serious.

People are actually becoming overly critical. I've seen people claim movies are "garbage" when they are nowhere near it.
