    Mesmerizing. If only you could bottle your experience plenty turners out there to buy it. Thanks for taking the time to share that with us.

    Nine people disliked this. Why I have no idea. I have been cautiously trying some of your skew techniques and I am very pleased with the results. Lovely piece. Great video. Thank you.

      There are some folks that hate music along with woodworking, I’ve seen complaints about that in other comments, I personally like all music and with wood working

    I love this project. Also like your editing. Different tool appears as if by magic and if you are not watching closely you may miss this change. Way to go. Keep the videos coming.

      Thank you, there’s little editing during the turning that’s the speed I change the tools in my hands.

      Surprisingly very little. I don’t turn much for myself. It took me five years to replace the stair spindles 😂 Just the odd piece other than that.

    What a really nice piece. Fantastic turning skills and control of the tools. When truing up the blanks is that a negative rake scraper you are using? Cheers great video. Tony.

    • @woodturner21
      @woodturner21  8 років тому

      Thank you, yes it's a negative rake scraper but I grind the edges to give a cutting edge on the side also.

    great skills. noticed you don't change the speed from roughing out to finishing. what speed do you turn at generally?

    • @woodturner21
      @woodturner21  8 років тому

      Thank you. The speed depends on the size of the piece. In this case about 1600 rpm for spindle work
