- hello to all friends, in this video I wanted to restore an old pipe wrench of the Ridgid made in usa brand.
it was a very nice job, the key was very damaged by the time and had a noticeable bend on the rod
that I had to fix with a very heavy vehicle like a caterpillar shovel :-).
I hope you enjoyed the restoration I recommend you comment and subscribe to the channel.
see you soon friends
Awesome, work, super video, bravo and respectful from old BG.
I have one, about 60 years old, like new, even the color is ok. Ridgid 4ever
I have a couple... They still make them in Elyria,Ohio. I worked there for a while. I have 2 uncles that retired from there & several other family members & friends that have worked there. U.S.of America jobs & Made in U.S. of America.
Ya gotta love tools, but I love it just for it's size! Awesome.
An impressive piece of machinery will now last forever. Great work.
Beautiful restoration of another stage in the evolution of the pipe wrench. Too pretty to use again but it will sure look nice hanging on a shop wall. Excellent work!
Filler on a pipe wrench ? wont last a few days on the real site .
Excelente trabajo y video gracias por compartir un abrazo fuerte desde puebla pue 👍👍👍👌👌
So today I learned that you can use the bucket of a front-end loader as a hydraulic press.
Nice job!!!
You know you have a kick ass pipe wrench when the groove of the upper jaw is so big, that a mouse can build it´s nest in it. 😁
I just ordered a 36" ridgid wrench, so in 50 years or so my grandson can restore it. 👍
Obviously someone used a "cheater pipe" on your old one. The fact that it bent is a safety feature and a proof of the quality. Cheaper wrenches would break (which can be very dangerous)
By the way, im not sure about the 2 components filler you used. If the handle is under great stress, so the metal is "working" i am pretty sure that filler will come off again.
The finish and the details of your restoration is just awesome. Better looking than the brand new ones!!!
Gostei, mas vc poderia ter desentortado mais, até ficar bem reta, era só ter calçado as pontas e precionado com a maquina.
Amazing job 👍👍
very nice
캬 돼 단한분입니다 굿
It seems awesome!! Good job man :D
Thank you friend!!!!
I'll take it ! send me the bill.
I subscribed, but I cringed at the pull strokes while filing. I do it from time to time. it's the sound that kills me. Great job.
Yr mujhe is ki nut chaiye 12 ka ranch Pana hai
How do we know it is 1950?
Instead of restoring it. Why didn't you just get in touch with Ridgid Tool in Elyria,Ohio & put in a claim for a new 36 inch pipe wrench. Those wrenches are guaranteed for life, that means forever. Even if they do have a bent handle from using a cheater bar.
The shipping alone would cost more than he made on the video.
