Plot Twist: They make the show and Gus is a secondary main character as well as a writer, musician and director. His talent single-handedly saves the show.

@Dynah Dixon my brother and I put $150 into a campaign for this small game studio that was making a dinosaur game called Deathground. A year later they were bought by a larger company or something. They got a ton of new resources and people, kept everyone updated with emails and a discord server. The game got pushed back but everything is doing well and everything promised has been delivered so far.
@Dynah Dixon There have definitely been a lot of kickstarter success stories, but tons of high profile failures too. Same thing happens with new businesses, although the businesses usually have more accountability.

I donated one dollar to the Kickstarter just because I wanted updates on the show. Then I saw people not getting their rewards for months and made a snarky comment about my one dollar on the Kickstarter comments section and my one dollar was refunded and my comment deleted. That's one way to handle bad press.
Imagine thinking you're gonna just scam people through a kickstarter, only to realize that you actually have to make the show now or get caught. Either way, this is going to be a disaster you can eat popcorn to.

Exactly what I was thinking! I doubt even the spin-off show would get many ratings, and for all the effort it takes to start a cryptocurrency, there would be far too little people investing in it to get it off the ground
True! His character is this... unenthusiastic, cynical, boring man. In other words, a big percentage of us viewers if we would be forced work in such a place for so many years. A character like Stanley thrives in well orchestrated chaos, but flops in smaller, less exciting settings. In addition; if The Office would revolve around one character in particular, it just wouldn't work. It needed that constant shift of focus to keep it fresh and exciting.

Yeah! If anything we want a SMALL look into something with Michael and Holly or Angela and Dwight just to see how they're doing with kids and stuff. After what? Season six? We didn't see michael till the very last episode and then his family and current life was very very briefly touched on just to let us know he has kids. I'd only really be interested in watching a spinoff if it touched on something like that.
I don't think you'll get hate for it... Pretty sure we almost all feel the same. Not that I wouldn't WATCH, but I expect it to fail. My only request is than it does some entertainingly, and Gus could help that.

Write an episode where he is performing his talent as well as a walk on speaking role and a guest star with music he wrote himself (Then having it as a running joke he keeps guest starring despite being a full character in the episode because he bought all 10 of the guest star spots). Make sure to write it as if you are a different character each time as well. Just super confusing.

@@SirHippolord Most of his videos are less than 8 minutes, which are not eligible for ads. I didn't even get an ad for this video. If he does make a lot of money from youtube, it would likely be from sponsors, but I don't know how much he would make from that. This is probably why he was promoting his merch so much.

A fan made office project that I am a part of, one of my partners was at one time a colleague of Sardar and his experience with the guy was quite interesting to say the least. Even if this show were real it would be awful, Stanley isn't funny enough one his own to hold the interest of an audience. The only reason he's funny is because he had Michael, Dwight, Jim, and Pam to riff off of. Without them he's just another grumpy old man who can't stand other people. If I wanted to see that I'd just walk across the street on my neighbor's lawn.
