Best Cold Approach Conversation Starters! These conversation openers are the best because they come across as natural feeling (they've all worked on me more than once). *Attitude + aptitude = a successful dude!*

There's this chic I approached this week...we had a short conversation (I'm a bit shy...I also had a huge crush on her) I took her number also......I texted her the next day.....she replied back but now she isn't replying.....give me the way forward with this girl.....I really like her 😊

Eric Ndigah did you over pursue? Text can also get boring quickly. Be playful, fun, flirty and teasing. But also be brief. Go for the clothes as soon as possible. The clothes is… Making plans to get together.
If you kind of bombed, wait a week and text or something unexpected. Or cute. With an open ended question.
If she replies, don’t be too anxious to answer back right away. Find and watch my video on “when to text a girl back. If she doesn’t reply, next! :(

Back in the late 1960s, I was at a party and there was this absolutely beautiful woman that I wanted to meet but felt that I would be rejected. She approached me and said, “Hi my name's Annette what's yours?” That started a 50-year relationship that included a happy marriage. I once asked her what it was that prompted her to approach me and her answer was that I had “beautiful kind eyes.”

I'm not afraid to talk to girls because of what they'll say or how they'll respond to me initiating a conversation; I'm actually self-conscious about other people listening in on my attempt to talk to a girl at a coffee shop or a bakery. I feel like it turns into an audition when people are just sitting 3 feet away, hearing my patter. Meeting a girl alone in an isle of a store or sitting/standing outside of a door for an appointment is so much easier.

Sometimes when none would say yes, I would say "come on, I'm not asking you to marry me, it's just a dance", and sometimes that would work.

my father gave me a good approach method, back when I was about 18 (early 80's) his advice was to ask a woman for help. it required some thinking and creativity, because the help needed to fit the surroundings. his idea was that by asking for help you were elevating the other person and putting yourself in a more humble position. in my experience it usually worked well as a conversation starter. I am not sure if in 2020 it would be as successful because people in general are more guarded about being approached, and asking for help could be construed as "I need money" ! my example would be such as: If i saw a "shining star" out in public i might approach and ask " hello can I ask for you help? do you know where (someplace relevant and close by ) is? and then her reaction would tell you whether you could build any conversation, interaction from that. it also is pretty good way to get a. conversation started with someone you may know just a little, but asking for a short easy help might open a deeper discussion... worked for my dear old dad! and for me too!

I once read an article written by a woman and her biggest complaint was that nice guys never asked her out. Only overconfident jerks would approach her. If she wanted to meet a guy that she thought was a decent person she would have to approach him. My buddies once asked me how I ended up with a girl that was way out of my league. I simply replied, "I worked up enough courage to ask her." I learned a lot from that article.

There is a girl at a convenience store that I stop at and I've seen her many times, but recently I've been attracted to her. She complimented me on a shirt I was wearing, and it sounds cheesy, but that was enough for me. Now I'm working up the courage to talk to her more. I finally asked for her name. Now I need to compliment her so maybe she notices I care. This video has some good things to start with. There are a lot of attractive women out there, but this girl seems very kind and she has a very sweet and soothing voice.

A simple compliment...I told a woman that she had beautiful hair...she really did. She was so grateful that I noticed, then told her. Then, she said her husband never notices, or compliments her. i have been a sales manager almost as long a some people have been alive. Your approach is so simple and open that most guys don't think it will be effective, I promise it is. this is so similar to a sales approach most guys just don't realize that it is. like a good sales approach, you have indicated that interest in the lady will in some cases capture her attention, simply because people like to feel that they are interesting. How to win friends and influence people. Once a lady has been open to a conversation, she is somewhat interested, it almost doesn't make a difference what you say next, in fact given a guy can keep his mouth shut, the lady will carry the conversation if the guy fails a bit. self confidence is really the key, in my opinion. a woman loves to see that in some men, because many do not have it. good article, once again, nice delivery. I could have used this a long time ago, but, here i am at a senior level and it is still working for me. thank Anna, good job. ciao.

from my experience, the utterances in these scenarios tends to be accusatory. Assuming the accusation is in good faith (!) person 2 is presumably anti-fascist and person 1 is anti-anti-fascist, presumably.... im not here to argue the merits of either case or comment on the ethics of assaulting people.

I always thought that this was mega cheesy, but I couldn't argue with his results. I have seen him walk into the club, ander over and say hello to his workmates while scoping out the talent. He would then say: "She looks ok, se you guys later." We would them watch him walk over, talk for a few minutes and not long after he would leave with an obviously excited lady. Wingmam, wanted to point out the often times shyness is actually caused by something physical. Mercury fillings will make a person's nervous system damaged. One must determine if it is shyness or nervousness. Not sure, but believe shyness is simply nervousness which can be helped dramatically by removing toxins, healthy diet, and B vitamins which are beneficial to the nervous system. When younger, approached by many, many girls but could not even really talk to them. I never knew until recent years that it was the mercury as it causes somewhat of a Parkinsons effect. If women like confidence, they won't like that as it would appear to be lack of confidence....it is not. People always accused me of being shy but explained that was not shy, but nervous. After removing the mercury, I could now make a speech to a trillion people and not be nervous one bit but had to drop from school as no chance could do the required speech class back then. Thanks for your video content and Merry Christmas!

I had 17 mercury fillings by the way but fortunately no root canals which are another horror to health. Your mercury was from fillings or something else? And how did you find out? Were you nervous more than shy? How did you resolve the poisoning? TY. If haven't, may want to do a video on that issue as it may be causing many people out there to be unable to ask someone out on a date. Got to build the proper foundation to get the best results from the quality and heart-felt information that you provide. #1 is the standard. It works well because you just say hello, my name is X. If she doesn't respond, don't waste your energy. No clever lines to remember, just tell the truth, be congenial/friendly. If you can't get her telling the truth, you can't keep her either.
#3 is clever but better get that line right. If you flub it, you could be considered deceitful. Not a good start.
#2 if it fits into the situation, why not?
For me, I find it best to not complicate things by giving myself a specific line, trust me I've tried. The more clever I get the more likely I look like Kramer tripping over a footstool delivering it. Just keep it simple, honest, humble but undeturred.

I think this video is full of really useful advice. I agree with the idea of it's all practice. Each encounter is a learning experience. One approach I take is to point out something small. "Hey nice nail polish. What colour is that, is that a kind of teal colour?" this is guaranteed to get engagement. Cause women appreciate small details being noticed. Or alternatively....the playful dorky approach......"hey, nice jacket. It wouldn't suit me, but it looks good on you. where did you get it?" etc. Rule of thumb.....is something that will make them smile or flattered you noticed and you got that ice broken!!

Thank you for giving advice to women I'm being nice and respectful when a man approaches them and they're not interested. It does take a lot of Courage for a man to approach a woman and when a man is trying to be a gentleman and nice and a woman's response is nasty toward them, it really gives me a bad taste. Also for your woman out there. You could be the most attractive human on earth, but once you're nasty. You're no longer attractive. The true ugliness and truth about yourself comes out. So in some aspects that makes it a lot easier for like-minded men who don't want to waste their time on such women. Great video and advice thank you.

Hey, I have them at "Hello". Another is, "Is your day going better than mine?" I find saying this invites intrigue. Aside from that, I tend to ignore attractive women, but they do approach me. Here's my tip. Have a conversation with a person (man or woman) within an earshot of her in a public setting and observe her behavior. Talk about some current events happening around town. She may enter into the conversation. Then, say something that may cause her to turn to you and make eye contact. Perhaps, something self-deprecating, funny, or chauvinistic. (I've noticed how women would laugh or talk a little louder to get my attention (or other men's attention), so I have adapted this tactic into a strategy.)

Gosh its hard being a bloke!! My 18 year old nephew sidled up to a girl said "hi I'm Jason-whats your name?" She said Kaye. He asked her what she likes to do- once he established they liked similar things he suggested they could try one of them- he pulled out his phone and asked for her number. She hesitated so he said "you married or you've got a boyfriend?" She said no. He said "so.......you don t want to go on a date with me?" Long story short- he got her number and they went on a date-
I agree with anna- you got to be a wee bit confident

The bottom line is no matter where you are in the world. You need confidence. You have to take care of yourself, You have to already be happy with your life and with whom you are as a person. You have to learn to like yourself and keep working on your own happiness. The rest falls into place. Physical attractiveness is helpful but is not necessary. You have to show you are already happy and do not need anybody to make you happy. That is attractive. Is all about the emotion. You can sell anybody with logic. But they will "buy" out of emotion. The key is how you make them feel. Yes it is a numbers game. like she said, the more NO's you will get, the closer to a yes you will be. Like they used to teach us in sales. if you don't offer you are guaranteed failure, but if you keep going somebody will say yes and you will become even more confident. Simple.

Anna, you are so easy to listen to and bring valuable, practical information as well. You are pretty easy on the eyes but, I most love your calm and low toned soothing voice. It indicates a sense of knowing who you really are and that you are comfortable in your own skin. Thank you. Jeffrey Z. in SC

Don't act interested in anything beyond a friendly moment. Smile..be genuine..
even if just in small talk. Find something humorous to comment on.. make life a little lighter for a moment..try to get a smile from her.
If it doesn't work, still smile as you walk away.

I spent my career in the corporate world and the women who worked in it were always easy to talk to. It's the culture and most men and women who were in that culture can easily get along. I've been approached by these ladies when working or traveling and I have also approached them. Introducing yourself to a stranger is something that just comes naturally in that culture. That helps with approaching people outside of the corporate world, but I usually find outsiders to be not as conversational, interesting, refined, cultured, educated, etc. That's not to say that I haven't met several women outsiders that I like, some of who are friends.

What should I do when I'm having a conversation with a woman and someone else comes over and starts their own conversation with her? Especially if it's someone she already knows.
I had this happen recently. I was at a party and was chatting with this young woman briefly before a bartender came over and started their own conversation with her. She turned her attention towards the bartender and pretty much ignored me.

The late great psychologist, Albert Ellis, who you probably never heard of, and who died at 94 years old in 2004, and had an Institute in NYC and gave his infamous "Friday night workshops" (open to the general public) at the Institute for over 45 years, all ways told the story of how he set the goal and approached 100 women with "cold approaches" and how he was rejected 99 times and the 1 yes he got didn't show-up for the date. He told the story to show that rejection will never kill you, that it gets easier with practice and eventually you can succeed. He was eventually married. Should try to read his books if they are still in print. Was the 2nd most quoted psychologist by a survey conducted by the APA.
