its a small family suv type that either flys to 60 mph at a virtual 5 second ROCKET sprint ( my wifey at the wheel 😫LOL) with a fair range , STOP THERE , oh no we will offer a even faster one that competes with a m3 or m4 in a sprint , seriously its badged up as VOLVO. peeps and mostly males will wanna beema that can get to 60 mph in 3 and a bit seconds, not the wifeys round town volvo kid /small dog carrier . what were the new volvo chinese peeps thinking ?
They should include a HUD on the ultra version. It would make everything much easier. Also, that's a wool blend interior you got there. It's very nice! Goes well with that matte yellow paint option.
face it: the back is for smaller folks. to me that makes it an occasional 4 seater. Havent seen anyone try a car seat in the back yet. The rest is great. Go Geely.
We mention car seats in the video. It is certainly fine for two but not three kids seats. We did find the fabric between the ISOFIX mounts too tight, and reported this to Volvo.
@@EVsBeyond wouldn’t buy a Tesla regardless tbh. Too many things just don’t properly on them. No turn indicators on the highland or upcoming juniper makes the car unbuyable for me.
I always wonder these cost saving decisions. E.g rear windows button, a lack of bottle holder in door, or only one back pocket in door (for some cars) How much "cost" does it save? Especially when the car is $75k... Just common sense decisions I thought
I guess the question is what would it be with such decisions. Some of it also comes down to brand placement. Volvo is a premium brand in NZ and priced up accordingly. In Europe it is more mainstream.
I've owned one in the UK for the last few weeks and I'm trying to return it. Until they fix the software please avoid, it's like trying a beta vehicle.
We have seen the same issue with a few other cars lately. The fix for us was to rotate the phone 180 degrees. Seems being upside down didn't trigger it.

Objectively is it a competitive value proposition? Really?
Similar capability in a different form factor to a model 3. Similar starting price. Premium brand. Bigger battery.
it is a lot of money when you compare it to the bigger seal

No HUD, quite small and black glass roof such a bad idea for Australia's increasingly scorching summer.
Increasingly scorching summer? We had 2 days over 38degrees 😂😂😂
No hud is a dealbreaker for me
No Tesla for you either?

*work properly*
look at that baby infotainment screen, It reminds me of a 1990's Nokia phone screen. BYD is far more superior for an affordable price.
BYD interior is so cringe. not gonna sell me.,
Yellow in sunlight is soooo good.
Very... BANANA.

Can you explain further
The connectivity near the charger is for a card originally to allow the car to be started (it was used to open the car my placing it on the B Pillar
