  • chaseblissaudi... Thermae™ represents a radically new approach to analog delay and harmonization. The pedal digitally manipulates the analog signal path created by 4 re-issued versions of the legendary MN3005 bucket-brigade delay chips. This creates the ability to change delay time in musically interesting intervals which allows for innumerable options for harmonizing and other sonic madness. These intervals can be sequenced through automatically or triggered manually for ultimate usability in a musical context. Thermae™ can also be used as a more standard analog delay with unprecedented analog modulation options. Every knob and switch is connected to a little digital brain while your guitar signal stays 100% analog and never gets digitally processed.

Chase Bliss is creating product that would take more lifetimes to fully explore than any other pedal maker. The skills of Mike Hermans here seem endless. Great video.

Wow. Amazing song choice for the beginning. I am always amazed by your musicality and creativity. You always find ways to demo pedals in such clever ways. Most importantly, great musicianship and playing

Perfect FX to play Trip Hop or Lo-Fi things, like Zero 7, Massive Attack and Morcheeba.

Thiago Vitesse totally. It’s worth having just as a secret weapon in the studio

The setting at 0:38, I must have it. Thermae is a pedal that's so freaking absurd, sometimes you wonder if you'll be able to make normal or musical sounds with it. You setting you use here perfectly answers that question. Jaw-dropping video, as usual! Mike Herman's ain't your dad's pedal demo guy.

it's gotta be next to impossible to demo anything from Chase Bliss given how many possibilities there are in each pedal. Pretty incredible company.

CB Smith it’s definitely tough. So many options. But it’s pretty easy to dial in.

Interesting effects. Something like a drunk guitar. "While my guitar gently drinks..." Ha!

This pedal sounds so good. I’ll never own one because of the price but if you’re going to splurge on some gear you could do much worse than this.

Finally, a channel that actually shows the musical capabilities of this pedal and doesn't just fart around with unusable sounds.

Is this pedal worth 500$ or should I get a good delay pedal and a pitch shifter.

I still don't understand why Chase Bliss creates utterly complex pedals without preset slots and stereo in/out. What's the point in having such a pedal on your board, when you have to change 100 knobs and dip switches in order to get the sound that you want for a specific song? Hologram Electronics show how it's done with their Microcosm.

I tried both at store in portland. Wasnt blown away by it. Ottobit was more useable but im not gonna try to sequence on it so passed on both. Popped on cb condor tho. Pretty stoked to use it when i get home

I'm just kidding. And just not. These pedals are very intimidating. I had a chance to buy a Wombtone recently and let it pass. I wish I had been gutsier.
