What me always helps to get out of an artblock is consuming art, but other art forms, especially movies. I'm the kind of person who can't simply watch a movie and then turns me of but I love to read interpretations and reviews and that makes me wanting to create Edit: and as german its always weird to get reminded that other people aren't allowed to drink beer with 16 years
I can't remember if it was Biana or some other youtuber who brought me to this realization but having an Artblock may mean somewhere in your personal life / in your psyche, something may be outta wack.... like you're repressing feelings or a family issue that's bugging you and you haven't dealt with. My worst ARTBLOCK was like that for me .....but yeah i go to another form of art too, to take a break
This video was so fun. I don’t know what it is, but you just have such a fun way of talking lol As for music recommendations, I’m really into Julien Baker. All of her music is pretty sad and most of her earlier music is pretty soft, but her latest album (it was literally released like on Friday) is more post-rock. A lot of her songs are about Christianity - “depression but make it biblical” - which could be a turn off for some people, but I’m an agnostic and I’m not personally bothered by it. And I’m gonna shut up now, I could talk about music for years...
