My family was staying on Waikiki at the same hotel as the Brady Bunch during filming. They were staying at the Royal Hawaiian hotel. We would see different cast members at the pool and restaurants. I know the hotel had a house doctor at that time because I had gotten an ear infection and had to see him. It was a memorable trip for my family!
I'd love to have the chalk board that was hung up in the kitchen. They would write notes on it. It's always fun to see what's written on it when watching the episodes.
@@jenniferhansen3622 Right, like you might see "Marcia, call Linda" on it--- something like that, or a little grocery list. It reminds me of "Friends" when we see a doodle or drawing on the small dry erase board above the boys' apartment door.

@Michael-hb4wc I'm not sure what your cousin went through but, for the Brady's, this was a nightmare trip they would remember since they were on a trip for Mike's construction job where Bobby found the idol thinking it was a good luck charm but ended up being bad luck whoever had it. Then the Brady sons tried erasing the bad luck by putting the idol inside a cave where they got kidnapped by an evil Professor who only kidnapped them to prevent them from telling about the cave and it's discoveries. The last scene of the show, showed them flying on the airplane back home and maybe they were thinking, "what a nightmare trip?"
When I stay at The Holiday Inn Express, the hotel doctor is knocking on all the guest room doors in the evening taking vital signs of everyone. Incredible service. That tiki idol must have amazing healing powers. Thanks to the Brady's inviting their housekeeper on the trip, the tiki idol knew where to apply its healing powers.
@jaredjlinden Probably if none of them were wearing it around their necks, there would have been no bad luck happening to any of them. Bobby felt it was a good luck charm and then he told his dad Mike that it's a bad luck charm and Mike said not to call it a bad luck charm where Bobby said "what about Greg's surfing accident while wearing it?" and Mike said, "good thing he didn't drown" and then Bobby said "what about the spider that crawled on Peter as he was wearing it?" where Mike said "good thing it wasn't poisonous." However, there was a scene where Greg, Peter, and Bobby had to find out how to get rid of the bad luck on all of them forever and a construction worker told them in order to get rid of the bad luck forever, the idol has to be put inside a certain cave which would break all the spell of the bad luck where an evil Professor was guarding the cave and tying them up in the cave to prevent them from telling them about the cave and it's discoveries where the Professor was going to escape away but, the Professor did apologize to them and said that he didn't mean to scare them and told them that when he gets into town from his escape, he will send someone to release them. Unfortunately for him, the Brady family came and noticed he kidnapped the kids where Mike said that he has a lot of explaining to do and apologized to Mike for the kidnapping and said that he only wanted to be popular and Mike told him to show the cave and the discoveries to get credit for it with the whole family will stick up for him which made the Professor happy.
