I wish that the main stream population would twig onto the value of the great outdoors and motorcycles can have on mental health issues. 👍

100% agree with your comments of people being detached from nature 👍👏 you guys have gone from strength to strength over the last year or so. Your success is well deserved. Keep them coming

I've had bikes for 51 years and feel like something is missing if I haven't been out for a ride during the week. But as you were saying with horses, I get so much more from engaging with my two dogs. 🐶🐕

For a duo who clearly stated they’d only be reviewing classic bikes including Harley Davidson, you’ve come a real long way and exponentially as well. You’re getting offers galore, lol. Power to the both of you.
    Cheers.

Thanks! We’re going to do everything (well mostly), but we certainly prefer classic styling 👍🏼

Nice video. Thanks for taking the time to explain how these press launches work. Props to Kawasaki I guess for their strategy.
Also, the last part was very nice. I think more & more people realize today how important it is to just "reset" one's soul like that every now & then in today's crazy way of living!

Interesting insight into bike launches in Spain. And what a lovely cat you have! I just wanted to chat to it and tickle it under the chin!

Another great vlog, on the mental health nothing wrong with talking to your bike , I talk to my bikes (iron horses) like riding my bike , talking to it is mental therapy. On the Kawasaki front ,maybe the penny has dropped and they've seen the light, getting young you tubers like Darcy riding their bikes is a great way to get their bikes in front of thousand of bikers which then might just inspire them to go out and buy one . I have a question for the Ol Man, I love the vintage Honda hoody, I want one , where can I buy one ?

Yes, with Triumph, I had my video all done but was told I couldnt release it until after the 25th January 😊 absolutely gutted to see all those early videos come out😡 Still, I would rather stay within the instructions and on good terms with the manufacturers. 😊 Great video, very interesting😊 Thanks guys😊

As for your mental health, I can say during my injury recovery, it was a hobby that I found so important. Tobacco pipe smoking. Been a human hobby for thousands of years. Just an idea. It's my solitude off the bike. Walking on the beach for exercise these last three years also helps.

I much prefer to grab a loaner in uk to give a true view test on British roads. I was a little disappointed at press ride due to feeling a bit rushed, balls out riding at every turn by the magazine journalists. Wish they would give the bike and just do your own this say from a start time and return the bike after. I think it’s a learning curve due to social media for most companies. Great you got on the trips for Triumph and Kawasaki, good to get some sun. Hopefully our rain will go 🙏 Agree on the press launch being a little after the dealer, madness - i see BMW did same on GS1300

Great catch up! yes the dealers should launch bikes before they are in the dealerships 👍🏼

It was surprising to me to hear Kawasaki hasn’t been working much with UA-camrs. Feel like that’s the go to for most motorcyclists to check out reviews, I don’t personally know anyone who reads motorcycle reviews from a magazine article lol

Maybe I`m a bit do-laly, but I speak to my bike quite often, doesn`t answer back for a start. I bond deeply with my bikes, they have been friends to me all my adult life. Being unhappy at home as a young man, they gave me my freedom to escape. Now, although happily married and with a family, they are still my closest friend. And you have to speak to your friends, right? Q...Where do you see motorcycles in the UK in ten years. Will they be banned?

    • @johnmartin7158

Thats an interesting question. I know it doesn’t just go on your subscriber numbers. I think there’s many factors that come into it.

@@MindfulMotorcyclist Good thinking there. You’re right about female riders, and on a launch they don’t actually represent the balance of viewers. We have about 4% female viewers on the channel, and I know from speaking to other channels, it’s about the same, so there’s definitely an forced bias. We will discuss the other reasons in our next podcast 👍🏼👍🏼

Don’t forget that some of the invites have nothing to do with UA-cam. For example, Vanessa was accused of only being there “because she is a chick” but the invite was because of her 158,000 instagram followers. Also Tim Rodie was invited because of his involvement in massive websites.

    • @bankruptpensioner

@@MindfulMotorcyclist Interesting, I will never get invited 😢. I have wasted too much time (closer to death than to birth 😆) saying what the ears of the recipient want to hear - and generally giving the unadulterated BS. Let's see if I can drive up the subs by being open and transparent 😆. I have to be - I just can't remember the lies I tell anymore - truth is easy to remember 👍

interesting video, just shows how some of the bike press are full of bull with what they say about some bikes after such a short time with riding the bikes, just confirms to me what goes on with certain publications and always giving good reviews to certain manufacturers, always thought that for some good reviews was dependant on the quality of locations and perks they receive, good that someone independent is now going on these launches that has no reason to skew their review to keep the perks rolling in
