  • This video will show you how to remove & reinstall the intake manifold to get to the spark plugs of the engine. It will take a while & a lot of patience to go through it but it is rewarding in the end.

A tip for anyone, especially newer DIYers. Get a piece of cardboard, put a "F" on one end, poke seven holes starting near the "F" and make the holes in a row with a couple inches in between them going away from the "F". Remove the front intake bolt and put it in the first hole closest to the "F" (front) then as you work your way back out each bolt on the next hole on the cardboard. This way you never mix up any of the intake bolts. Works good for head bolts as well.

Changing the spark plugs her seem like an absolute pain compared to other cars, video is very helpful though.

On my 1995 w202 i managed to do it without removing any hoses or anything around. Just a steel plaque on top of the motor. Then i got to the spark plugs. Again, this is an asian car.

    Hi,
Thank you for the informative video.
After changing the spark plugs in my Pajero the car does not crank or start, what might be the cause?
    Thank you from Australia.
