Besides wrong rim/tires and driver, this generation of Pajero (at least in USA from 2003+) did not have a rear diff lock or LSD... it uses fake 'LSD' via braking, which will never be the same as a locker or LSD.
I sold my Pajero and got the Prado...the only thing i miss in the Pajreo is the Sound system and the looks.. Otherwise the Prado is whey much better off road, parts are easy to get and it gets me where i need to go thats what i need in Africa.
That's garbage, I've driven Toyota land cruisers and the Pajero and the Pajero is way bay better better handling better fuel economy more reliable, and better in the sand and mud than Toyota landcrusers, they don't articulate quite as well.
Pajero disadvantages are the clear distance to ground is lower and fucking bad design for long rear useless bumber that always touch to ground when offroad. For superselect, yes it is good. Only above mentioned items are bad side if compare to Prado. Mitsubishi designers killed that car actually.
Mitsubishi Pajero has won 13 Paris to Dakars and Toyota land cruiser zero. Ground clearance on the Pajero is the same as for the Prado which is measured from bottom centre of the rear differential. Mitsubishi Pajero also have the most reliable diesel engine in the class, ask any motor mechanic that works on 4WDs
all these people saying pajero isn’t equipped with all terrains. They’re wrong, definitely tires looks like all terrains. See towards the end, 20 mins plus.
Curious statement as I have a 2005 Mitsubishi Montero Limited and have never experienced this, nor has it overheated. Seems most owners who have trouble navigating these situations off road forget that you need to give it some throttle and let the traction control system work, not constantly break or give up too soon.
@@thebeast9606 overheating of the traction control not the engine. There is world of difference from the mk3 to the mk4. Not for the better. You're correct on driving style with traction control.
Mitsubishi Pajero has won 13 Paris to Dakars and Toyota land cruiser has won nothing. So much for Toyota. Mitsubishi has the most reliable engine in any 4WD was told this by motor mechanic that's worked on 4WDs all his life. Anything else you want to know?
Pajero is the king of highway the cross country king when going off-roaders you have to swing faster for the greatest momentum traction
So sad, either this pajero doesn't have 4WD, or driver don't know what is a center lock and what is rear lock and never engaged those.
Driver... I have a Pajero sport with super select 2, and I can pass easily. I'm sure it was driver.
It's not even fitted with A/T tyres
@@josemiguelbb Agreed. The driver doesn’t know how to pick his line.

@@arrowdog8852 starting from 2007 the rear diff lock is back to Pajero even more it is combined to the traction control (fake LSD as you said) ;)
Loved that Mitsubishi Pajero ... class !!! loved the composed manner !!!
Why Pajero doesn’t switch on four wheel mode?
he is in 4wd mode. but not the right one. he doesnt have the 4wd center locked mode on.
Кто этот супеводитель на Паджеро? 🤨Когда смотришь как он проходит препятствия, то без таблетки валидола, на это спокойно, нельзя смотреть

Prado is better for off-roading but much more expensive. For the price of 1 prado you can get 2 Pajero 😂
@@waza3350 parts are cheaper here for the prado in southeast asia but you can literally buy 3 2012 Pajeros for 1 2010 Prado lol.
@@boldstar69 Yep, what Nice with Toyota is how cheap there part are. But the overall price of the car, my god....

The legendary Pajero by: Mitsubishi
If they sold them suzuki in a 5 door LWB version they would clean up! Just give it a slightly more powerful engine.
Pajero is so good car
Yup better than Toyota

definitivamente es muy mala la mitsubishi para el 4x4 yo tengo una montero 2016 y donde quiera se queda patinando
Give me a Pajero with same tyres, and welcome every 4x4 from the factory! Pajero is king if are all 4x4 from the factory.
