For 5 years...this was the ending. How it played on..after they walked off. Incredible...kept the crowd looking at an empty stage...wishing it wasn't over.
Monstrance Clock is the ending of Infestissumam. Period. What you could do is: • Carry on with the albums and the EPs between them. Order is: Opus Eponymous > Infestissumam > If You Have Ghost > Meliora > Popestar > Prequelle > 7 Inches of Satanic Panic > Impera • After you're done with it all, you do a "special" episode reacting to all the bonus tracks that aren't in any of the EPs. Those are: "Here Comes The Sun" (bonus from Opus) "La Mantra Mori" (bonus from Infest) "Zenith" (bonus from Meliora) "It's a Sin" (bonus from Prequelle) "Avalanche" (bonus from Prequelle)
@@Aatu_S Don't forget Papa's excellent cover of "Sympathy for the Devil" with the Hellacopters! I know it's not technically Ghost, but it's still Tobias in his Papa suit, so... it's still pretty Ghost.
Monstrance Clock was the ending of Infest as Tobias intended. The added tracks were done for various sources. So I'd go right into Meloria. That's my vote, but you can't go wrong. If you have Ghost, you have everything.
If you check out some recordings from the concerts, before this song Papa has a little speech about 'birds and bees' lol. Also, he encourages people to fuck each other after the concert. So 'come together as one for Lucifer's son' definitely has more than one meaning in this song ahaha
By your standards, all of Ghost's albums are 10's for me - I can listen to any of them from front to back and enjoy every song, without skipping one. Apologies to my neighbours for my singing along. ;P
The best song from the Album in my opinion, such a creepy way to end the record. Cant wait to see ur reaction to Pro Memoria, Griftwood and Watcher in the Sky
Hope that you find Meliora to be just as enjoyable as the rest of your journey so far! Just as Infesstisumam had a step up in production value, Meliora will continue to take things to that next level again. Spirit (first track) will make that quite clear. Man, just looking at the track listing, I'm excited for you, haha
I believe I Am A Marrionette is a cover of an ABBA song. Being that Ghost is from Sweden and ABBA is probably the biggest act ever from Sweden, no surprise that he would pay them a little tribute. I think the Ghost version of the song is a banger. Love the drums in it.
It’s interesting to hear your reflections on your own musicianship after listening to Ghost. I’ve never before encountered a band where I like pretty much all the songs. It took some time for me though. Guess I’m a slow learner 😅 I didn’t like Elizabeth at all, at first. Now I enjoy it, even though it’s definitely not one of my favorites.
I love this one. And it's a wild live show especially hilarious speach before they start playing. Considering a lot of song are covers I would recommend ether just listening original ones or maybe on covers of the songs you knowbso you can compare. Maybe waiting till you're done with albums (delux versions maybe too) and then circle back to it
Elizabeth is also the one I have the most problem with from the first album... but I don't skip it. Anyway, you finished my favorite album and are now moving to probably my next favorite which can also be my favorite tomorrow, we'll see. It changes all the time.
okay lots of thoughts here, first doing my best (maybe?) to help out the name confusion :) > in-fest-ih-sue-mom > jigolo har meg-ih-doh > mel-EE-orah > deh-OOs in au-sense-ia next, tobias kind of wrote Infestissumam to have really strong openings and endings to the A side and B side of the record. so A side opens with the title track (my favorite) and ends with Ghuleh/Zombie Queen, then B side opens with Year Zero (such a killer song) and ends with Monstrance Clock (my other fav) so you can definitely hear that natural culmination of themes! my two cents here is that you should save some of the listening experience for yourself too! there is something to be said about sitting down, closing your eyes, and listening to a song for the first time in the car; truly unmatched. But I understand if you want to save all your reactions for the channel! Infestissumam is done, full stop. La Mantra Mori is an original and you won’t find it on anything but the deluxe of Infest so I would definitely give that a listen, but If You Have Ghost is all covers with the exception of a recording of Secular Haze. I think that’s a solid time for you to just chill out and hear them for yourself😊 Like you said, all of Popestar (again all covers except for Square Hammer) is on the Meliora deluxe edition, so I think you can go into that version of the record just fine as long as you know that Deus in Absentia is the natural ending of Meliora. of the Popestar covers, my favorite is Bible🖤 lastly, thank you for wanting to get our input☺️
More GHOST! Reaction to the Uncensored Year Zero would round out your view of this Second Album. The extent Ghost will go and the extent of Papa 2 will do to make everyone understand He doesn't give a F¿€☆!
Another reactor actually just reacted to that a week or two ago, and now all of his Ghost reactions got blocked, so yeah, I would be leary of doing that one.
I think the songs after this, which are the covers, should not be checked out until you’ve thoroughly heard the originals so you can appreciate fully how Tobias switched it from its original genre to something new. But, nonetheless, if you’ve heard them, by all means.
I totally get what you mean about modern country. You turn on country radio and there’s nothing that compares to Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard and Waylong Jennings and shit like that. But if you dig, there are some killer modern country artists out there. Old Crow Medicine Show comes to mind. A lot of the time, they get labeled Americana or alt-country or something but they’re around.
I like what someone suggested in a previous video. Listen to La Mantra Mori and then go right to Meliora now and then onto Prequelle and Impera. Then go back and do the EPs in order. You’ll get to “I’m A Marrionette” when you get to the If You Have Ghost EP. However you end up doing it, I’m digging watching and going along for the journey.
I didn’t see it here, so apologies if it’s been stated. His gestures are based on the same things his costume is-religion. He blends the glamor of gestures with dance and singing to further the aesthetic. Then uses it to promote Satan. Genius.
That isn't technically the complete song. The video you were watching cuts the last bit of the song. Here is another with the complete ending - ua-cam.com/video/KCkoIEbjbsM/v-deo.html
Ghost: Zenith. A song not on any album or EP. Great song. And do the EPs after all the albums. Then you can compare the EP sound versus album progression. Yea.
This is one of the greatest concert closers of all time

This is the deal
They also have enter sandman cover

@@neuralmute Yeah, that's also an axcellent cover
Another personal favorite of mine, also we’re getting closer to mummy dust!
Mummy dust from Ceremony and Devotion
Mummy dust from rite here rite now... It's the best version of any of them

I have a huge papa II tattoo 😂my leg it’s starts at my ankle and ends at my knee! He’s definitely my favorite cause he’s “the evil one”!
Making my way through the albums as You put out the vids. It’s been a sweet ride, so far.

Oh, I jumped the gun. I guess you might not be doing Meliora next. Well, when the day comes then, haha
Right? Any song that starts with a theremin makes me smile. :)
@@neuralmute I'm still waiting for a kazoo to finally make it into a studio cut, haha
If You Have Ghosts is pretty much a cover EP. Like for instance Waiting For the Night is a Depeche Mode song.
I believe I Am A Marrionette is a cover of an ABBA song. Being that Ghost is from Sweden and ABBA is probably the biggest act ever from Sweden, no surprise that he would pay them a little tribute. I think the Ghost version of the song is a banger. Love the drums in it.
PAPA ll is awesome! You are right Ghost has the great music and add the great show to it...amazing!
You have to see monsterclock from Hellfest 2016, the whole consert, it is outstanding...🇸🇪
One of my favorite song 🖤😈
Buddy I’m so excited for you to listen to if you have ghosts and dues in absentia. Two awesome songs no ghost fan can skip.

I recommend you to listen to kaiserion and griftwood, both of these songs are on the impera album I think
It only gets better from here
Adolescent lyrics set to Scooby-Doo theme riff
I agree the studio version is better. The chorus ending adds so much to it. It’s repetitive. But it’s somber. Eerie. But beautiful as well.

I think you should listen to Bible, from the Popestar It's epic as shit. \,,/

Mel - i - ora, not Mel - o - ria.😉
definitely move on to Meliora , save the EPs for later .
Deus in Absentia.
Where is God/God is Absent or something in Latin. Almost in my personal Ghost top 5 but there's just too many killers.
You should listen to the studio version instead of this, you are missing the intro and the choir ending. Big mistake my friend
Alot of talking brother.
Alot.
Just saying.
Montrance is tops for Papa II.
They ended their shows for 5 years...with this song.
Check out Cody Jinks sometime. He might restore your faith in country.
