It’s not just about talent, though. If you can become so ridiculously skilled in something, simply because you recognize how bad you want it, you’ll make it happen. It’s so interesting to me how often people emphasize talent all the time. There’s a difference between having a deep interest in something, not being talented, but being willing to break yourself in half just to learn it and be skilled in it, and just not being interested at all. This idea of talent, in my opinion, has the tendency to push people away from potential.

Literally 15 seconds in the question was answered. She said "keep at it". I think you missed it.
I think they did answer it-but the true answer is to just keep at it, and produce good content on your social media accounts, there is no single answer which is why they kept talking about different aspects of producing content!
He mentioned timing as well. You could be putting out great content but if no one cares to watch it at this moment in time, you'll be stagnant until you change something. Change it up, find what works, throw away the rest.

i see some people giving negative comments, but i just wanted to say this helped me tons. i think the answer was more qualitative rather than "you need to do x, y and z," and, truthfully, sometimes that's better. i'd say specifically 1:19-1:42, and 2:28-2:35 really helped me here. i just started blogging and was coincidentally chatting with a friend before watching this about how i'd imagine there'd be stagnation/"potential energy" building, without much 'success', for the first 3-4 years, before anything takes off from an objective angle. once again, thanks so much.

In large amounts sugar can be too much. But then someone like Magnolia's Bakery or Peacefood comes along and totally repackages and totally kills it with presentation that you just want MORE, MORE, MORE!!

I always find your videos very informative. I am currently using your techniques to grow on Instagram. In 12 hours since posting my first photos, and really going live. I was commenting and getting in touch with people about their photos, and I already grew by 4 viewers. Not much but it is a lot at the same time. I am also trying to get my youtube going but I need to start posting more consistently, and start the videos of myself reviewing where I have been and just getting my face on screen. Keep up the great work. One question what is your opinion of contacting small travel companies to offer my videos for their social media in exchange for help directing traffic to my youtube page and instagram?
I just enjoy the process and work toward the goal. I have fun working toward the goal. Someday I'll have a bunch of subs and I'll look back and appreciate all that I learned along the way ❤️🙏🏿

The problem is that people try too hard to be who they think we want them to be instead of just being themselves. I guarantee this girl’s blog is absolutely pristine -- because she’s a grammar nazi (someone who takes great pride in creating space between themselves and everyone else through the power of punctuation). And that’s fine. But why? And at what expense? Your personality. You choke yourself out in favor of the person you think people want you to be, but it’s the same person that everyone else is trying to be. So what makes you unique? Why should we read your blog instead of just staring at ourselves in the mirror?

I do all the things: post twice one morning one night, careful with hashtags, my photos are good, the feed is coherent , always same subject, follow same accounts, archived thousands older posts, cleant my feed, answer all questions and comments.....stagnate at 1800...get a lot of Bots of fake followers and unfollowers....still dont get where can I change my game and level up...
