Took me 8 months to get to 1k subs... made it to 15k in the next 6 months. People are sheep, that little number determines whether or not they will value u and deem it necessary to follow u. It only gets easier after that. Trust me.

I saw the biggest BS ever on here the other day some woman saying all youtubers have editors. I had to comment and say only one I subed to had editors and even then she has done this for 10 years. You inspired me to create content on youtube! I now make self-improvement videos because I learned that we need to think “how can I help someone?” Instead of thinking “I need to make videos to earn money” but I make my videos out of pure joy and happiness because I love creating videos and editing them. I hope everyone else succeeds!
Crazy watching this. It definitely takes patience. Year 1 we grew to 10k. Going on to year 2 we’re approaching 40k. Consistency, quality and making sure you do something you love is the way to go 👍🏻

I went from 800 to 2k subs in just over a week by figuring out Shawn Mendes' entire latest album the day it got released. By midnight I nearly had all the song lessons up on UA-cam, diagrams and interactive questions to engage viewers. Replying to every single comment, had good conversations and as Gary says, if there is a way to hack attention go for it. Thanks Gary.

I rebranded my UA-cam channel just over 1 year ago releasing our first video November 1st 2019. In the first two months I went from 200 subs to 10k. Now a year later we are sitting just under 20k and pushing out as much content consistently as possible. This is while my wife had a baby during a pandemic, working a 9 to 5, being in university and raising 2 children. We live in a rural area with no hi speed internet access. I drive into town to get wifi to post multiple times a week. I've done this a year straight! No excuses guys just grind it out! I pray we continue to grow and flourish!

Been stuck at 528/529 subscribers for like 3 weeks even after uploading everyday for the past 36 days..not gna lie i came to a point where it wasn't fun anymore..i felt burnt out..i wanted to quit. I was doing it for the wrong reasons..but now i think i will just make videos talking about what i want instead of what may have the most potential to blow.

It takes a lot of humility to take a step back and start from Zero once you've built and grew a business in the last 16 years... It's great that you point that out because at times I feel hesitant to stick to rebuilding from scratch with 2 subscribers doing something i enjoy! it's very tempting to give into a salary in exchange of one's soul, but it takes a walk with my dog in Nature to make me realize that the pain of living humbly is worth going through to continue my entrepreneurial journey!

Watching this again, and 05:58 onwards have never been more true. Haven't been on your channel for a few months, and was finally unpacking some boxes from our house move during lockdown and found CRUSH IT! in the baby nursery last night and read it has the bedtime story.

I don't have a self esteem coach, but I did teach self esteem in a program for people convicted of crimes. If they took my class the judge didn't put em in jail. Of course other people also took the course.

I am so thankful for Gary and how he is pushing my ass into gear! It really does mean so much honestly. I am from East Africa and a visually impaired person (VIP) aka blind girl, aka a blind UA-camr 🤣🤣🤣
I won’t lie, this social media and UA-camr thing is not easy. always trying to think up good content, spending from my savings which some people think I should use on more responsible things like blind aids rather than cater for video production costs cos my UA-cam channel is at 900 subscribers. The running around behind-the-scenes to try and troubleshoot stuff I don't show, researching for hours and hours to understand these algorithms better, feeling bloody inadequate when all that fails! and moments like these when I ask, Krystal are you sure you're really adding value on here, or are you just kidding yourself? But I freaking looove being a creative, it's what I was put on the earth for, that's my only problem LOL.
I don't pretend to be some fantastically amazing guru at this, but I greatly appreciate you Gary - you are cheering me on and you don’t even know it 🥰 I do this to spread awareness, to offer other VIPs in Kenya some everyday tips and hacks and let them know they can slay out here too, to be an example to anyone who sees themselves in me, and of course to just have a good old funky time being myself! Screw these man-made stereotypes!!!
