These 15 psychological marketing strategies are worthy of knowing which can improve one's copywriting style greatly. Thanks for providing such valuable information to us.
I am a massage therapist and I just started my own business. I thought I knew what you were going to say with the framing effect but I was wrong ha ha ha. You did give me a really cool idea though. I am now thinking about putting a front and back facing body shape on my wall in my office and covering them with Velcro and having my clients come in and place "pain points" where they are feeling the most discomfort. This gets them involved in the massage process and I can look up at it to remind me what my client wanted. Thank you for the cool idea.
My favorite technique so far was the one where you said you gave the Client a whole bunch of choices and they were confused but then when you had a few choices, they are more likely to buy. I am going to try doing this for sure .
So I'm new to the space of digital marketing, and marketing in general, but the one great thing I have noticed about your content and videos is your subtle call to action that feels very effortless. I got to this video from two other videos and I'm about to enter another video from here and it keeps going, lol. Great job. very educative, and captivating.
I have been most impacted by 'The Ikea" effect, I am a fashion designer and my brand allows my clients to customize an existing design to better suit them. So I will be working on improving that customer experience so that the customer understands the value that service provides therefore encouraging them to be willing to pay the premium price that comes with that service.
My biggest takeaway is that you are extremely good at executing the mentioned psychological tricks throughout the video, throughout the video. In a way that glues the viewers attention but also provides good information. Nice work, would be very interested to see the retention rate of this video as well as CTR.
I struggle with keeping myself organized and sticking with a schedule but I'm a very hard worker i invested in my skill of copywriting at 16, yes, a sixteen-year-old copywriter and I've been writing since I was 13. I'm also an artist, can't wait to start my own copywriting agency
THE BIGGEST bias for me was when you told as about "the serial position effect" and you told us that you put the most important ones at first and at last, although you did not mention this bias IT GOT ME FOR SURE!!! first you placed it at second which is the perfect place due to your reasoning why you did not place it at first secondly actually this is the genius part you made me go through the video up to the last
Your delivery is so captivating that I have found myself watching video after video. I have learnt a lot and what really stood out was the Anchoring and the Confirmation Bias. Really like the videos
this reminds me of my Consumer Behavior course when I got my Marketing Degree... it was all about consumer psychology. till this day it is still one my most favorite and affective courses. it applied to many branches of marketing. not just social media and digital.
Fascinating video on psychological triggers! I've been applying some of these principles with boost app social to enhance my marketing efforts. Its AI-driven content creation really taps into these biases effectively.
Had been looking Business videos from the last 2 weeks but this video is the only one I found very very helpful. Single video with lots of topics and explanation is really helpful. Great work 👏🏻
Hey bro, I'm Brazilian, but I speak English too, this dubbing option in Portuguese was sensational! I just discovered your channel and you already gained 1 more subscriber!
I'm learning, as a classroom educator and SEL curriculum writer, that marketing is the SEL (Social Emotional Learning) Department of the business world. Thank you for your help. It's fascinating. You're a good teacher.
i really appreciate the fact that he also considered ethical implications when telling us how to apply these marketing triggers, ethics are a topic that i dont see discussed often enough. great video!
My biggest takeaway is that people want to feel validated whilst doing as little as possible. Which means you should make them feel as important as you can in the marketing process whilst validating their identity.
Its so interesting because as a consumer i have fell for these triggers time and time again. actually i just bought a high priced item from one of my favorite youtubers recently. and ofc i went with the "most popular" option. lol its ok though i have lots of trust in were i put my money now. but consuming in the past... yikes! the amount of money i wasted! i could prob be rich by now haha
Wow, this comment just gave me the idea to put a positive twist on everyday phrases. Not only will it catch people’s attention and make us stand out, it’ll create a positive vibe for us as-well. Thank you!
This is a phenomenal summary that would take months or even years for me to learn on my own doing research. I was familiar with about half of them, but it was great to review those and to learn the other half of new ones. It is SO INTERESTING! One of my favorite resources in this area is the book, "Influence," by Robert Cialdini. I'm sure you're read it. Anyway, I will have to rewatch this video, take notes, and it's a keeper for sure. Thank you, Adam!
Hi! When you’re talking about the bandwagon effect, and how the closer social proofs match the identities, beliefs and values or the appearance of the people you’re trying to reach is even better… it got me thinking… Do you happen to know if AI is currently being used to generate marketing lists for social media audiences that help align with this? Like using photo scans, post searches, and evaluation of hashtags to identify users who would be seeing companies’ targeted ads?
This is unmatched. I recently enjoyed a similar book, and it was unmatched. "The Hidden Empire: Inside the Private Worlds of Elite CEOs" by Adam Skylight
I am studying marketing on my own with the help of 1 formal program so I had pretty much been told about these principles but not spelled out so well or in such a useful way... very good job.
Thank you very much for this lesson. Now I know why my business didn´t grow. I am too different: I love the risk and ordering from unknown shops to discover new products. I love to have a huge variations of products to choose ... I thought the people out there love it too and so I designed my shop, my products. Lessons learned. I have to rework my shop.
I have experienced over the many years of selling the main 3 triggers, and not so much triggers, are the words "free shipping", low prices, and items on sale. Everybody is looking for a bargain, no matter what it looks like.
What you called the halo effect is actually the primacy effect. Halo effect is where the perception of one positive trait gets applied across the board to the person or thing. Example: Brad Pitt is attractive, so he must be trustworthy, smart, etc as well
Great video Adam!! The one I personally detest is the Ikea Effect. You click on a website and immediately a pop-up box appears on screen. At that point I want to leave. I've come to your website to look at your product or service not to fill in a survey! So I manoeuvre to the X in the top right of screen where I am then asked if I really want to leave. At this point I'm absolutely enraged, click on the X and never ever return to that site so Ikea effect is a massive negative as far as I'm concerned and I will never go down that route. I hate pop-up boxes and I really really hate it when I want to leave but am questioned about it first. I don't like being held to hostage which is what it feels like.
Great video. Some of these things I’ve seen personal success with, others I’ve seen have success on me. Thank your for consolidating all this quality info
One of the best and complete resources on how to serve better and grow your Business. Thank you so much Adam, because of this video we were able to identify better our core as a company and how we can serve our population.

I have fell in love with this channel! Thank you for the very valuable content. As an entrepreneur I tend to fall into the trap of I want things this "certain" way while not considering how my customers will perceive what is being presented, so definitely thanks for putting me in check! :)
Thank you! Black women are the leaders when it comes to starting their own businesses nowadays but it doesn’t ensure that we’re successful. Informative videos like this really help our community as we can find it difficult in our communities to share information like this. 1. Can’t teach what you were never taught 2. Gate keeping 3. Sexual harassment or pressures from men. So it’s nice to have access to this information without the hassle of it all. Thanks again🎉❤
Very interesting stuff, made loads of notes. I’m just thinking about getting into copywriting and content creation and I think knowledge of the psychological side of marketing might separate the good from the great. Any tips on what I can do to go forward please. I’m a complete beginner???

I never buy a product from a company if there are too many options! i think its too overwhelming. I also don't like to waste alot of time in a specific store etc. If there is a few options i feel comfortable, feel satisfied when i make a purchase. Thats one of the reasons i like your channel! One moment I thought oh this guy is trying to pull that tactic off 😂 Not with me I know what you’re doing… Next moment I found myself buying his book lol

I'm learning, as a classroom educator and SEL curriculum writer, that marketing is the SEL (Social Emotional Learning) Department of the business world. Thank you for your help. It's fascinating. You're a good teacher.
Hii
My biggest take away is, there is more knowledge too Market customers to you store than you think. This helped acknowledge all aspects of them
1. Content making skills come in play again
2. Customer jorney seems to be a subscription modeling in content making
I can't believe this guy gives this info out for free. You a real one Man 🙌🙌
Thanks my friend!
Hi
i really appreciate the fact that he also considered ethical implications when telling us how to apply these marketing triggers, ethics are a topic that i dont see discussed often enough. great video!
🤡
yes i liked that too because sometimes we don't put enough effort into that as as we are so focused on selling to the customer.
You are awesome, I am writing notes of your videos So that I can apply them on my croshet business. Thank you soo much
Great content! We are working on putting some marketing in place. A bit overwhelming but totally worth it.
Oh my my. This is awesome! "The first and the last statement in marketing matters"
My biggest takeaway is that people want to feel validated whilst doing as little as possible. Which means you should make them feel as important as you can in the marketing process whilst validating their identity.
The best donut maker description I've ever seen in my LIFE. Bravo!
Takeaway... this course is easy to follow and so insightful

No words to describe the value I got from this video... just amazing !!!
Brilliant, I'm familiar with all of them but I don't think I've ever heard them all in the same place at the same time

It's funny how even when we KNOW they're being used against us we still can't really fight them - that's how powerful they are.
Much love from Ethiopia
Once you learn this, you become master salesman!
Thanks you ! Im just starting my first eccommerce store ! I needed to hear this info!!!

I believe narrowing choices is more the job of the salesperson as opposed to the marketer

The anchoring effect. Essentially just named a system I’ve always used but not really known about
And I am here for script ideas about a business psychology trick video
That was clever at the end using one of those bias/psychology techniques
:)
