This might be just an opinion, but I really believe that Alex is the best drummer of our time. This guy is an absolute ANIMAL behind the kid and every rhythm he comes up with is masterfully crafted.

Alex is The Drummer!!!... and I must say that I like more the organic sound of the drums more than the original album mix. You should keep going with this sound also to differentiate from the current trend on the triggered/sampled sounds.
Trivium is like some kind of bizzaro nickelback. Theyre original, their songs rock, their musicianship is solid, theyre underplayed, underpaid, less known than they deserve to be, and bring a lot of dignity and respect to contemporary rock and roll in the ears of those whove been blessed to listen to them. I can attest that more than one activity has been fueled by their jams to put it mildly

As much respect I have for Travis Smith, Alex has helped a lot elevating the band to another level. He's a damn fine drummer.
