Installation takes about an hour and you can complete the task yourself by using these basic hand tools: Small flat head screwdriver, a Phillips-head screwdriver, a T25 torques screwdriver, a T27 torques screwdriver, a pop-clip removal tool, a 5/32 Allen socket, 3/16 Allen socket and a Ratchet wrench.

I just ordered and installed a HDHU14+ from you guys. I forgot to order the module for handle controls and your sales dept efficiently fixed my order, shipped it out and I received it very fast maybe 4 days tops. Absolutely love the unit, The orange back color for the side buttons matches the hem Harley lights very well, Radio screen is better than I expected very clear and high resolution and bright. Super happy with the entire experience. I proudly put Note Cycles Sticker they sent up on my toolbox.

I order this radio and got it today. Does it have a protective flim that needs removing? Bc it has obvious scratches right out of the box. It had a small piece of tape in the upper left corner, but wasn't attached to anything. Hopefully i get a response, since I'm in the garage with the bike taken apart.@@notecycles

How does this unit compare to the Boom GTS unit? I just got a 2019 SG and the Boom doesn’t sound the greatest and EQ is only bass and treble smh
Thanks for the installation video, made it so easy to do. Took me less than an hour to install on my 2016 HD Ultra Limited Low. So far I’m digging having the CarPlay, just wish i could figure out how to get the CarPlay sound to come through my Cardo PackTalk Bold. Can’t get the wireless CarPlay adapter to pair with the Cardo.

You can't. I also run the Packtold Bold. It cannot nor can they "upgrade" the radio to do it. It is a design characteristic with Google. Unless Google changes the way it uses the bluetooth, you will not be able to run a second bluetooth device, i.e. a comms system, with this radio.
I just installed this and on my handlebar controls the volume up or down it seems like it lags any one have any ideas as to why that would be happening

I have stage 3 rockford set up on my 2018 SGS and i want to add this head unit. Anything special needing done to pair these? Will the amp need different settings.
Yep, this head unit will work perfectly with your Rockford set up! You will need to reset the gains on your Rockford amp, but all you’ll need to do is call Rockford support after you have the head unit in and they can help you set the gains appropriately! Thanks for video. One question. I have a Street Glide 2014, but the sound system do not have GPS. Installing this New one, Will all functions works or it do not works for me?

Is there a reason you didn't use the supplied bushings for the 4 main unit fasteners?
Great question! No particular reason, we just reused all the factory hardware and that’s it. You can certainly use them!
If I correctly understand in this system it is not possible to see for example oil pressure what we can see in original HD infotainment system, right? Thanks.

Nice system, but is it not possible to stream the music through the normal Intercom system? In the Netherlands the speakers are nice but not done. I use the sena freewire to connect the helmets which are fitted with a cardo system.
Makes sense! You are correct, at this time the System is not compatible with Sena headsets or helmets. Sorry!
Does this radio retain all the stuff the harley radio does like the tpms all the engine monitoring, odometer trip ect,,
At this time the radio does not retain the info screen, but there’s rumors it may in future updates - but certainly can’t confirm at this point.

Unfortunately this kit isn’t compatible with the CVO models with Harley boom amps. Sorry!
what is the single blue wire connector for in the harness that come with the unit ?

What is the reason the gage cluster had to come out if you reinstalled it before putting everything back together? Or was it due to clearance for the head unit itself?

Where did you end up putting the mic?
This customer elected not to mount the mic, but the instructions recommend putting it just inside the windshield.
Do you know if the USB is the higher amp spec necessary for charging Samsung phones?
I have a Samsung 10+ and it charges it just fine. Not super quick because it is running Android Auto and streaming but it does charge.
Yep, it'll charge a Samsung no problem!
Will this work on a 09 ultra classic
Unfortunately no. This unit is compatible with 2014+ Touring Harley’s at this time.
What about the nav antenna?
