Si keeps information screen/gauges. I don’t see the price difference, especially with the need for the data module.
2 questions.
Why do you need a cable or dock to program the RR? I thought you only needed a USB cable?
Why didn't Soundstream include Wireless Android Auto on this head unit??? On a motorcycle, this makes perfect sense (Ciro Cyber Charger mount). That's literally the only thing keeping me from buying this radio. I don't want to add another device that may not be seamless (MA1, etc)

I just took my Sony 7000 out and put in this radio and I got noise coming from speakers… Rockford dsp and 3 soundigital amps
Carlos I noticed you not using the low level outputs on the radio. Why ?
Some amps don't like the low level differential grounds from the RCA, where as speaker level is common ground.

We always run speaker level into the dsp
More voltage and less chance of noise
If we need low level
It’s a easy swap

Say Carlos I have sony and the screen is oxidized and I was wondering if this sound stream has a protective screen cover like the Harley radio

Was there a protective film on yours out of the box? I had a piece of tape in the top left corner that wasn't attached to anything. It has scratches across the entire front of the screen.
Yes there is a film with writing on it
Thank you. I bought it from a known online retailer, that has videos on UA-cam. It came with no film and obvious scratches across the screen. Had a piece of clear tape on the top left corner of screen.@@NVSAUDIO
15 road glide , does this unit perform better than my stock? I have soundstream amps, front and back speaker upgrades, but I do not like not being able to have an eq, and being able to adjust settings as much as this. Ready to order one but want to make sure it is an upgrade , not just a shiw piece thanks for a reply may man . Great video
The Sound Reserve has a high low for sound out where you can tell the difference. The new Sound Reserve doesn't it only has a maximum sound but there is no difference in the sound output. Is there something Im missing
Hi Carlos , So would you say the GTS display is still has better visibility in bright sunlight than this latest Sound Stream model ?
With all of the equipment there, do you ever run into ventilation issues with the amps getting hot? Are there ever any worries of possible fires?

so i have limited myself to looking for 2019 and newer HD limited models because of the GTS upgrade over the 2018 units. are you telling me this unit can go into a 2018 and give me the GTS functions and more for just $1200? can the secondary "hold" functions of the buttons be added after install or does it require removal of the ilink and a re-flash?
The 18s don't have tyre pressure senders so they won't work for starters. Not sure what else won't work
How's that new Soundstream compare to the Sony XAV-AX6000 or 4000? Putting the waterproof aside. I currently have the Sony XAV-AX7000 and have seriously been considering the 6000
You don’t need a unit to flash the module you can do it right on your computer

It’s between $900 and $1300. You need the RR one or the RR two that’s what makes the difference in price.

My question is if I have a stock GT system in a 2014 Ultra Limited with the Rockford dsr1 installed with aftermarket amp and speakers. Will the dsr 1 replace having to purchase the i datalink RR unit if I reflash the dsr 1?

But you won’t get the data display and how are you going to mount it ?
It has a non standard face plate that doesn’t fit any faring opening on the older bikes

No. The 13 down Road Glide version is due out in about 2 weeks (barring freight issues). The 13 down Street Glide/Ultra are due out sometime 1st quarter 2023.
How does it sound with boom stage 2? Any better than with gt6.5 and its weird eq settings ?
You can make the boom sound better but it won’t play any louder

You can use the RR2 (14:30 in the video). Not sure about the weather resistant of the modules.
