This video truly spoke the truth. I could write a book as to why and how. I am so tired and why? Simply put, STRESS of sitting in a cubicle and dealing with all the office politics and technically only working 1 hr a day of a 9 hour work day. The stress is what makes me tired not the work itself.
I can relate. I actually try to get things done but because of broken process and procedures, lack of documentation and constant changes at work I can be productive even if I try!
true i work in a high risk process iam sme post but after a shitty Mgr they only promote their own people. half of the time I have to keep justifying myself with procedure and documentation I have done the right job.
The productivity level of any individual generally falls to the average productivity of the group in which he works. This means you are smart intelligent IIT guy working in infosys/TCS on shit cleaning project of maintainance you know what happens over period of time you will gravitate towards poor level only.
secret of success is working in a flat organization along with high energy indivisuals who are fair in dealings. This you will get in Vaikuntha not on this planet. All said and done management people do nothing except show business and politics to make their money and when project is about to fail they are the first one to leave and move somewhere else to cook their shit. If they can on average do 6 iterations of this on 3Y project them its almost career done :)
