I've worked out of town Monday through Friday for 20 years.
Missed my children growing up and suffered deep depression when I started realizing that I am now in my late 40s and my children are grown.
Working on it with my kids and my life now. It's too late to get those things back, but were looking forward to the future!
I would strongly suggest that no one value money over life!

I think u misunderstood what jay is trying to say. He is not saying that u should quit ur job right now or stopp studying right now and do what u want to do. He is saying keep a safer option as ur main whatever u r doing, job, studying whatever. In the beginning of the year I just suddenly ran into one of your videos and you inspired me so much that I just had to follow you on Facebook and here. Than I found other people through your posts that also inspired me and from there my life changed. I do exactly what you said today.
I want to become a fiction writer, so before and after work I watch online courses about writing, I bought books about it and I have a daily goal of writing at least 1000 words. If I come home very late from work I sometimes step down to 500 but it still just became a part of my daily life and I miss it when I can't do it. (which happend just 2 days since I started)
I'm going for 100.000 words on the first draft so I still have some ways to go, but I feel how I get more trained every day, so glad I started this.
Thank you for being such a great inspiration!

The question is how do you know what you are good at? How do you know that you are not deceiving yourself by telling yourself that you are good at it? Even if I try to do something else i will always feel like i'm losing time by starting all over. I would really love if you could talk about patience, because i believe that so many people are actually afraid of losing time on something they are not sure it's worth for.

I quit my job because I was really physically and mentally exhausted that even I push myself so hard to be positive and hoping things will get better it just didn't. I know its a huge mistake quitting without anything lined up. I really thought of getting new job before quitting but I can really no longer find the happiness so I quit immediately. Sadly still having a hard time looking for a job now.

I am a 23 he old British Born asian/Indian female who is STILL unemployed and living alone and trying to resit basic GCSE exams.I went back to college because the job search has been hell.
I am living the next level up from homelessness. This is not a life.
I have a C only in maths so doing science and English. Now before anyone automatically stereotypes or misjudges me as a carefree, benefit reliant, slob who does nothing I ask you to stop assuming and start being compassionate to say least.
    I have tried every avenue.
The only work I am getting is voluntary.
I am taking this personally and seriously.
People tell me not to give up but I know no other person of my age still trying to be employed. I'm fact so many people my age to their first jobs without even being interview ed.
I am register ed on all the job search sites.
I never get feedback even when asking do it.
I'm always early and well prepped for interview s.
I always thoroughly research companies, roles, specifications, do dummy runs, practice interview questions and answers, and much more.
My hours, days, weeks, months, years, pennies, pounds, tens, hundreds, thousands have wasted away.
Why does the world hate me!
Believe it or ntot, alongside all this real world effort I do practise abundant positivity and gratitude and mindfulness. But it never works favourably no matter how I look at it.
How am I supposed to keep forward
I have applied for jobs online and in person.
I have applied for everything including cleaning, care work, fundraising, retail and more.
I get interviews once in a blue moon.
I seek help from so card professional s including work coaches, interview coaches, careers advisors.
I am unwell but I want to work and I can work given the right environment.
I have applied for every job possible posted that I am suited to below,at and above my level of education and unpaid work experience.
My patience and will to live has run out.
I have had enough of all the injustice including social exclusion, stereotypes, bullying, racism, inability to pay bills, unemployment, failure, neglect and all the bad.
Yes ok I'm currently procrastinating online but I don't intend to it just happens when browsing.
What can I do to manifest a well paying, permanent or steady job, preferably before the end of this year?
I am worthy of a much better lifestyle so naturally when I see videos like your s complaining about well paying jobs I am obviously patronized!

I am sorry for your condition. Life is really hard. Do not lose your hope. Try praying to God. We are weak. God is strong. If you don't mind let me teach you a sentence .It's a prayer. "Hasbunallahu ve Nimel vekil "
It means God is enough for us.
Try to say this word 500 times a day like a mantra. It takes 15 minutes. And leave yourself to God. I hope God will help you. Best wishes for you

I cannot tell you that everything will go your way - that you will get a good job and that a wonderful career is waiting for you at the next corner. What I do know is that life is carrying you on a special journey intended only for you. Benchmarking yourself to others is the wrong thing for you to do. You are on your very own heroine story, and this is the part where the heroine is struggling. Rest assured, the part where things will be great for you will eventually be next. A wise man once said to a questioner; “The problem is that you dislike what you do have and like what you don’t have. Don’t you see how easy the solution is? You just need to like what you do have and dislike what you don’t have.” Take a backseat for a change, let life fully take charge and trust in it fully. See what you have before you that you can immediately contribute and do - be it the volunteer work or even a job as a barista at a fast food place and jump into it fully, trusting your journey. It might seem like solving the job situation will make things all better. It might. But until then, solve the suffering problem you are going through first. That is the priority.

Also you may find work with less hours and with frugal living you can live just as good if not even better. Done by design, so you won't do anything to go from that work. No energy for side hustle or anything like that. Believe in yourself and all is possible.

We spend most of our time in work and yet we don't love it. We often stay because we have obligations that we have to settle, risk that we don't want to take, negative reactions from people we care about, and etc. That's what we usually say when we're confronted with the reality. We want to get out of this rat race but prefer to be entertained than to be educated, prefer to relax than work towards your goal, spend time drinking with friends than improving your side hustle, and etc. If we have an ambition, our actions should match it.
