Nah, Snyder was the reason Ben signed on in the first place. He loved Snyder’s vision, it was when the studios started interfering and switching directors and the vision that he started to get frustrated and pissed off, eventually just leaving. I don’t mind him being so old, we’ve had like 2 different Batman trilogies, cartoons and video games. Like the new Spider-Man they needed to shake up Batman a bit to be fresh. It still was a bit by the numbers, but overall I don’t think we need a new Batman on the level of Iron Man in the MCU, let the new heroes breath.
Thing is there's absolutely no reason why we can't have both Robert and Ben's Batman's in solo films. There's a multiverse out there and if DC played their cards right we could have an MCU level DC film universe leading to crisis.

If everything was going well in the DCEU.. Ben would not have had such bad reactions.. he's not the 1st famous actor known for or working on another project.. He's with WB/DC and working with Zack fkin Snyder.. hope he makes it thru and can drop this shit-sack universe after JL.
No he's one of the actors who works on other projects that don't make a box office hit and eventually will be blacklisted for failure to make a film people actually want to watch. DCEU is what he should have been holding on to for dear life.
He was basically taking on three jobs, directing, acting, and writing. I can’t imagine the screwed up pressure for doing all of those for a character like Batman. Maybe in an alternate timeline the movie actually came to fruition. I’d love to see more of his version of the character.

As good as his cut of Justice League was, Zack Snyder is still the only reason Ben's Batman is dead. Literally the worst possible way to make Batman in a cannon universe, not Batman in the end. From the begining of BvS you know that Snyder's Batman has no future. Ben Affleck sure deserved better.
Snyder’s plan was even to sacrifice him in the end in order to save Lois Lane, such a stupid plot. And the whole idea to start off with a Batman that’s 20 years deep into crime fighting... why would you start a universe with your Batman on the bring of retirement with Superman who’s just starting.... That always baffled me. Affleck could’ve pulled off a 35-6 year old prime Batman easily.
Nah, Snyder was the reason Ben signed on in the first place. He loved Snyder’s vision, it was when the studios started interfering and switching directors and the vision that he started to get frustrated and pissed off, eventually just leaving.
I don’t mind him being so old, we’ve had like 2 different Batman trilogies, cartoons and video games. Like the new Spider-Man they needed to shake up Batman a bit to be fresh. It still was a bit by the numbers, but overall I don’t think we need a new Batman on the level of Iron Man in the MCU, let the new heroes breath.

If you’re there promoting other films, especially one you’ve written, directed and starred in and can feel interviewers just waiting to ask about superheroes. Projects that you’re not allowed to disclose information about, projects still in the incubator being developed, and any tit-bit you do say is blown up for click bait.
