RRR is an Indian Telugu language movie also called Tollywood. Tollywood mostly makes Expensive Big production films in India like RRR, Baahubali & upcoming Sci Fi series KALKI 2898AD. RRR is made by India's biggest Filmmaker SS Rajamouli. 🙏

While the version you watched is in Hindi, it was dubbed by the actual actors. The original language is actually Telugu and Netflix doesn't actually have that version if I remember correctly.
India actually has multiple film industries, each segregated by language.
Bollywood is Hindi film cinema, and named so since it is centered around Mumbai, formerly known as Bombay.
RRR is a Tollywood film, which is the film industry around the Telugu language in southern India.
There are other "-woods" such as Sandalwood, Mollywood, etc. for different languages/regions in the country.
And you must be jealous of Kollywood since you didn't mention it along witn Sandalwood and Mollywood and yeah, South Indian cinema are way ahead than Bollywood.
Bollywood is just full of nepotism, we should never allow Bollywood to get popular, South Indian cinema must be the representative of Indian cinemas worldwide.

Those bikes used to be light during world war 2 and they are showing those bikes, which were airdropped during the war for the ground army, and the army used to carry unassembled and assemble themselves when in need. In this movie, Ram embodies the fiery force while Bheem personifies the calm strength of water, symbolizing two powerful forces. Additionally, Ram represents Lord Sri Ram from the Ramayana, while Bheem symbolizes Lord Hanuman in the same epic.

no, there's 2 cinema regions : Bollywood is North India (B is for Bombay), Tollywood is for South India (T is for Telugu langauge, in Hyderabad)
Bollywood is for films made in Hindi language which can be understood by most Indians. Tollywood is for films made originally in Telugu language or where majorly actors are Telugu. There are many more film industries in both north and south regions
There are not 2 but many, Bollywood is the main hindi but most states have their own language movies to, south alone has Telugu, Tamil, Malyalam, Kannada, in north we have multiple languages. There are way more than 2

I was excited when I saw that you reacted to this movie and you did not disappoint. This movie grabbed me and, like you, I was surprised to get emotionally invested. The exaggeration is all a part of the style of the movie and it mat be a bit foreign to western tastes but kinda enjoyed it's over the top scenes. Oh and it's blanks not blind bullets. Again it was very enjoyable watching your reaction to movie progess throughout the reaction and I knew you would love it like I did.
However I think a lot of Chinese action kung fu movies were also over the top and they were successful in western countries.
So it shouldn't be a problem for Indian movies
Because the Chinese movies the characters knew karate 🥋 so it made sense but Indian movies defy logic it makes no sense for a single police officer to beat up a crowd they should have just made him hulk if they wanted to do that

Like all major action movies, the main characters both good and bad are portrayed as being somewhat superhuman. They also benefit from plot armor, the most powerful type. This film portrays an Indian who worked with the English (with hidden purpose) and one who worked for his community. In the end they see they share a common goal. This is a movie that I’d rate 4+.

The statue from where Bheem took the flags, bow and arrow is of male god named Shri Ram. He is the ideal most human being this planet has ever seen. The way he led his life, stood strong as a mountain although life was throwing a series of challenging times to him, made him revered as God. For us Indians he is an emotion.

The "exaggerations" (the over the top, epic feeling of the story, as well as the physical attributes of the 2 protagonists, were 100% intentional, pretty much in the way Tarantino's movies are. That is, they're a feature, not an unintentionally funny miscalculation.
Comparing the exaggerations in Bollywood to Tarantino is asinine. Not even Looney Tunes had stuff that was as exaggerated and over the top as Bollywood movies do.

42:48 - The god you asked about with the bow and arrows was Rama, an Avatar of the the god, Vishnu. Vishnu became human a few times besides Rama or Ram (another Avatar was Krishna). Ram was a prince who married Sita in the The Ramayana, one of the major epics at the heart of Hinduism. Bheem, representing Hanuman, the Monkey God who befriended and served Ram, is also a call to another epic of Hinduism, The Mahabharata. In the that epic, 5 brothers, the Pandavas fight their cousins, the Kauvaras (100 brothers and 1 sister) for the kingdom of Bharat (India or The World). The second eldest brother of the Pandavas was Bheema, who was the strongest of the five.
There is a lot of religious symbolism flying around in the film...
The kicker is that A. Rama Raju and Komuram Bheem were REAL MEN!!! They were among the many leaders all over India to fight for Indian Independence. While there is no connection that the two men ever met or knew each other, both men have gaps in their histories (about 4 years each) where the filmmakers play with who these guys were, and made an amazing film. This is why we see all of the portraits during the final song...they were also leaders from all over India leading for Independence from Britain.
Naatu Naatu was filmed at the Presidential Palace in Kyiv, Ukraine before the outbreak of the war with permission given by President Zelenskyy for the filming. Director S.S. Rajamouli has a video where he breaks down that sequence for Vanity Fair on UA-cam. The song won the first Oscar for an Indian film not nominated in the Foreign Language Film category. It was not nominated in any other category except Best Song. It should have been nominated for at least 12 of the other categories...Best Picture, Director, 2 Actor (both Charan & Rama Rao), Supporting Actress (Alia Bhatt - Seeta), Supporting Actor (Ajay Devgan - Alluri, Ram's father), Screenplay, Score, Editing, Sound, Special Effects, and Production Design. My personal opinion!
RRR originally started as a mock title for the film in press releases, with each R representing the two main actors Ram Charan (Rama Raju), N.T. Rama Rao, Jr. (Bheem), and director S.S. Rajamouli...the RRR title becomes different for each country where the film is played...for English language audiences, the title is Rise, Roar, Revolt.
