- A San Antonio woman is being sued by the FAA for a record fine of nearly $82,000.
The lawsuit comes three years after Heather Wells was duct-taped to her airplane seat by the flight crew.

It's about time the FAA decides to get real about some of the lunatic behavior going on in air travel.
Can't believe the trying to open the door during flight is lesser fine than the kicking, hitting, spitting. The open door during flight can cause traumatic sudden depressurization which in turn can cause a person or person's to be sucked out, cause sudden loss of control of the plane which in turn can cause a crash resulting in 💯% death for all plus possible ground damage and death. I think they need to up the fine plus mandatory jail for that offense.
Because they won’t open pressurized no matter how he’d they try lol. Only (kinda) works below 10,000ft.. so a brief moment during takeoff and landing.
