I have two similar "Command Shock's" with a third in-coming. Display layout and functions are identical but I like the look of the case and the wearing comfort of the strap much better.
So I have the shock command negative display version of this and for the price Timex failed using Acrylic instead of mineral glass. Love the watch but not the scratches even wiping it gently causes scratches. I would not have this on if spraying chemicals and yes off spray will eat the acrylic.
Thank you for the review. I'm searching for a referee watch. Maybe you can take a short video of the timer (countdown?) function? That would help me a lot.
Ive had mine for a few years as a gift from a random trucker I can’t figure out how to change between vibe, tone, combo also you press the mode button to cycle and it wont take me to the hydrometer
Press the setting button (upper left) until the digits flash. Now press nine times the mode button. Now you can chose with either the upper right or lower right button between vibe, sound or combo. Press the setting button again and you're good to go.
It doesn't show up well. Just the numbers are lit. When you do a lum shot on camera, it looks like the entire face is lit up, which it isn't in practice.
I'm here because I just saw the watch on Amazon where it says NOTHING about what the "HYD" indicator in the bottom left is. I was praying it was like one of my G-Shocks which show temp and Humidity... Nope. Instead it's an alarm to tell you what your body already does... The best sign of a need to drink water? It's called Thirst! What really stinks is that the slightly gaudy yet very cool "Q Timex Reissue Digital LCA 32.5mm Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch" isn't available for a reasonable price. If it (even while just as gaudy) were at $68.99 I would buy one. Hydration alarm... Such a let down to me!
The "hydration" alarm is basically a secondary countdown timer with a range of 1 second to 59:59 minutes. Unlike the primary countdown timer it will repeat indefinitely (no other option). Ive found it quite helpful for timing tasks where I need a constant repeat e.g. sports exercises and such.
Not as unwearable as you'd think!
I liked mine so much I bought another one with a negative display. And I have a wrist just shy of 7 inches.
Yep, it wears better than people think it would! The negative display one looks cool!

I have a yellow from the late 90's.

It remembers me of Pip boy from Fallout games
Absolutely! Definitely a similar feel.

I wonder why you do not want to do with lum shot which is important esp Timex.

@@LV-42617 Fair enough. I don't fault you here.
@@LV-42617 No, it means Hail Hydra!
Heard the strap falls apart within 2 years.
I have mine 4 years now and it's in perfect condition. My only complaint would be that the acrylic glass is too easily scuffed.
Agreed, but strap is fine.
acrylic lens. scratch magnet.
But tougher than glass and you can polish out the scratches.
🇺🇦7 лет ношу без проблем 👍
How about the strap??
Hail Hydra!
useless video if cannot see the indiglo
Does it have the hourly chime like G-Shock?
Yes it does, unfortunately only sound no vibe (even if the watch is set to vibe).
Came to see the indigo. 👎
