Man when you said “when you’re saving $400” that really hit me. I just feel like each year braids go up another $100-$150 as if the clients aren’t making the same amount of money. It’s hard to get your hair done for a quality and affordable price. Like realistically WHO can afford $400-$600 hair styles ? Who? Sheesh that’s why I be on these DIY videos tryna do it myself. Great video as always ❤️
I don’t normally leave comments, but THANK YOU FOR THESE VIDEOS! I’ve watched almost all of your videos on knotless braids and slowed this one down and realized how off my fingers were braiding. Fixed that little piece and boom, I am moving along with my braids lol. Thanks again, great video. ✨
Thank you. I’m planning on trying these on myself in a couple of weeks. Saving money all 2020. Yours look good. I like that you added the hair behind the braid. I really can’t see where it was added. You and Natasha Camile aka curly_strands have the most comprehensive videos on knotless braids. Thanks for sharing. Wish me luck.
Kersti Pitre Oh no. What you have is perfect. I meant I can’t detect in your braid where it was added because the technique was flawless. You did a great job. I’m hoping I can replicate it.
Used your method yesterday on myself doing knotless for the first time. And it came out GREAT!!!😁 i used a "braid stand" from walmart to make the process faster as well as pre-stretched hair and actually found this was kinda easier than doing regular box braids. But can you do a video of setting up the strands for knotless braids please??? I would love to send you a picture of my final result. 🤗 Stay blessed Queen❤
Hey gorgeous method and videos. Looks great. I wanted to know what you mean by dipping your hair? I never know what to do when I get to the ends. Also after you applied mousse did you blow dry as well.
Wilgrid Peralta hey girl❤️ what I mean by “dip” is: braid you braids all the way to the ends then dip those ends in a big cup, bucket, big bowl or kettle that is filled with boiling hot water. Dip them in the boiling water for at least 30 seconds the. Remove the braids from the water and dry the ends with a thick towel. Now as for the mousse, I typically just apply the mousse then the sheen spray and then I put a scarf on and let it set for about 30 minutes no heat. If I have to go somewhere I will use a blow dryer to set the mousse. Hope this helps❤️
Love this x The close up, quality of the video everything this should really help me I have a question though is it the same technique for if you wanted the length to be shorter could you do a video on that if you can
my friend just sent me this video because I damn near lost my mind trying to do this on my own head a few weeks ago. I’ll try again using this video my next style
I tried these on my mannequin head and it went pretty well but I CANNOT do it on my head. My hands refuse to cooperate with me. It is so frustrating! I might just make a wig and fake the funk, lol.
I was curious which brand you used for the braiding hair? Last time I braided my hair, the braiding hair got so tangled. Also, how long did it take you to do this style?
Do you feel the braids are less heavy when you do it this way? And where did you get the rack from please!?! 😫🙏🙏💓 This will make my life so much easier when getting ready to braid my hair!!
Sterling S Mtr I got knotless braids a few weeks ago and they are soooo much lighter!! I used to get such major headaches when I got braids because they were so heavy but I haven’t had any headaches this time around. They are also so much easier to style because they move around easier and when you put it into a bun the bun isn’t too heavy. I would 100% recommend them!!
@@Karisbell Thank you so much for answering! I've been wanting to try these. Ive got really really thick hair and it's tricky for me to braid my hair with heavy synthetic hair and not have it "crush my neck". Lol And that's also a great bonus- styling with more movement! 😵 Thank you again! And if anyone else reads this- I found the rack on Amazon.
Sterling S Mtr no problem!! I definitely understand the pain, I have A LOT of hair as well, it’s heavy enough on its own before I even add any more hair too it, so these knotless braids definitely saved my neck lol!
Karis Hortin hi ! Could you please tell me if you feel like Knotless braids are better than box braids for the health of your hair? Like when you take them off there is less shedding
Lamine Anne-Lise hey there! I think they are definitely better on your hair because there is way less tension applied when braiding. I haven’t taken my braids out yet. I will take them out here in a couple of weeks, so I will for sure come back and updated you on the shedding! I might also do a segment over it on my UA-cam channel so feel free to check that out in a few weeks as well!
Does it matter which strands of your real hair you connect the extensions to? The side and middle piece ? Or the two side strands??? If that makes sense lol
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. Here’s a reminder of how much God loves you & God bless you🤍
What is your biggest struggle when it comes to knotless braids? 🤔
Kersti Pitre when adding hair making it look seamless, so you can’t tell where hair was added.
Making sure my braid doesn’t twist! Sometimes my hands change braiding directions and I end up with a beautifully twisted braid 🤦🏽♀️😂😂🙄
How to know from small to big pieces of hair to take apart to add
My biggest struggle is how much braiding hair do i separate to prepare and add to braids??
Kersti Pitre the back 😑

Belle's Place yes as the cost of living horas up, so so many other things. The techniques do make a difference too.
That's the reason I learnt how to do my own hair back in sixth form.
So true
I have a friend who spends about 300-400 every 3 weeks. So true!

You made a valid point about more kinky hair and mousse. Not many people share this.

I love when you do your braids so neat and clean 🥰💘

The close up, quality of the video everything this should really help me
I have a question though is it the same technique for if you wanted the length to be shorter could you do a video on that if you can
Shania Thomas yes it the same technique for long or short braids. You would just cut your hair in half and stretch it.
Beautiful as always 👌🏾❤
You make it look soooo easy and neat! The least time I tried...epic fail! 😂
Beautiful as usual!
I love...Lovelyb's edge control 💚
I’m so ready to do my own now 😃😂 , your teaching is so perfect

Hi Kersti! Another beautiful style well done. 😍 my struggle is doing my own hair, just adding the hair in. 😫
Do you still use African pride products when braiding hair or you out grew it???
Can u give an update of the best products for braiding?

Excellent DIY😁😊
See now I wanna redo my braids😒
Just wondering if the braiding hair you used was a regular length or did you use a longer length hair? Cause It looks really long.
Lashanna Wickett regular length and it was not pre-stretches
I struggle with separating the hair out. I don’t know how much to size out, without putting too much hair. Please help!
So close up thank you because after seeing other people videos I was still lost 🤣
Hair be so expensive in the US sheesh. Here in France the most we pay for knotless braids is 110€.
Was it hard doing your own knotless braids ? when you get to the end of the braid do you knot it or nail glue it
Oh snap I think you're the lady from Google images. You are gorgeous to me sis!
What brand of braiding hair did you use ??& did the hair itch or get irritated??

❤
What brand of braiding hair did you use?

Is it possible to start the braids without any kind of gel? Plus I have very kinky hair. And I also find it hard to feed in the hair😭
Try blow drying or straightening your hair or do both.
Yes its possible. You could also try beeswax, it will not revert your curls like some gels.
Thanks
2nd bayyybayyyy
😍😍😍😍
Does LovelyB’s not cause flaking? It’s out of stock on Amazon so before I pay shipping, I’d like to know if anyone knows.
KiraiBK no flakes at all. The formula is not like other edge controls I’ve tried actually.
Kersti Pitre perfect. Thanks!
How long is the hair you used?
What hair did you use ?
Adding in hair and parting☹️
People who dislike this video are probably the ones asking $400,- for braids😒
So beautiful and so sweet lovely lady i love you

What’s your ethnicity?
John 3:16

I feel like these would barely last
Me tooo. I wanna do them but I’m scared
I love the look of smaller braids! I also have fine hair so the bigger braids just pull too much 😭
