When i use to get my hair braided by the africans they use to do this technique before braiding.. so when i started braiding i used this way as well. This is an awesome trick for that tangle hair!!

The dryer may not have been hot enough, with some dryers you have to either have it on high, or have a higher wattage of dryer.

It only works on kanekalon or toyokalon hair. 100% synthetic jumbo braid (polypropylene) doesn't work with heat.

That looks crunchy especially at the ends. Boil wash it will make it silky pin straight
