BEST tutorial I’ve seen on knotless braiding so far and I’ve watched a ton of these! Just did mine yesterday but will try this method going forward! Thanks for sharing!
Best tutorial I’ve watched. It’ll be my first time doing knotless braids on my daughter’s hair. If first I was skeptical of trying to do them myself, however, after watching your video …I got this! Lbvs! Thanks new subbie! ☺️
I just did my own box braid for the first time yesterday and they turn out good, I’m going to trying doing this next, this is by far the easiest method I have seen on knotless braid.
Best video I've watched so far and I've literally watched more than I could count so when adding hair it goes to the first and last strand leaving the middle one
Did my hair for the first time ( jumbo box braids) and although the parts aren’t that straight it’s still something. I plan to do my own here moving forward. No more paying hundreds of dollars lol. Just need to do better on my parts and braiding.
@@The.EbonyJay Success lol I tried this on my 7 year old daughter and i think if i try it a few more times, i'll be a beast. LOL Thanks again for this great video.
I’m definitely going to try this technique... time to put the faux locs away and try something much newer 😊awesome work and your client hair is beautiful ❤️
I'm going to be doing this to my daughter's hair next month. I've never done anything like this before. Do you recommend a certain length? She has never had extensions or anything like that in her hair before.
@@The.EbonyJay thanks. I just didn't know if the braids are heavy. A white friend of mine told me that they would be heavy but I honestly don't know. I'm mixed and was raised in an all white home and was never taught how to take care of my hair. Everything I've learned for my daughter was on UA-cam so she wouldn't have to go through what I had to go through growing up bc I was made fun of bc of my hair. . I've just never done braid extensions or extensions of any type bc I thought only salons did that and I couldn't afford it... it's great being able to watch these videos and realize that yes I can actually do this for her at home and not be as scared and clueless as to how to do it. So truly... Thank you so much for your content I really appreciate it!
Did you add more hair towards the bottom of the braid, for each braid, or only when you felt it thinning out? I’ve never had box braids and I’m doing them on myself soon so I’m tryna get every little detail possible LOL but I love your tutorial and I’m def relying on your vid to do mine
Soo i cant get box braids down for the life of me but i can do knotless feed ins🤦🏽 so backwards lol....n her hair is so long n pretty i wanna see it done without weave
You feed in until you get the thickness u want and if u want it longer you can add hair when the ends start to feel thin . To keep the Same density add before the hair starting thinning out to add length . Hope this helps
Hand brace is from the dollar store and no each time i looked at her hair and made sure every piece in my hand hand the same amount . When u braid and a piece is thinner than the other that’s when the braid will start to twist . You have to just eye it and see what you need and what u don’t . Practice
I am planning on getting knotless braids but my natural hair is already almost tail bone length so I’m having trouble figuring out what length of hair to get. I don’t want the braids past my butt, so should I just get hair that’s around the same inch as my real hair like 24’ or should I still just grab a full 30 inch bag?? PLEASE HELP ME!😩😭
I'm like struggling on what size to get, I really like the medium size but I also want my head to look full without too much space between it. Iv'e seen it look full with small but which size do you suggest for it to look full? I know stylist have different techniques but I'm just stuck on what size I would actually like.
i really like these😍😍😍!!!! if its possible could you make a video on how you parted their hair i wanna do them on someone cause i practice on my mannequin but my parting don't be it😭
Girl u got me believing I can do it .

You welcome 🙏🏽
Your amazing at what you do honestly helped me out big time
Good I’m happy i could help
They look great!! Did you add glue or anything g to keep it from unraveling?
I knot it at the end

Beautiful..do you have hair prepping video to make sure the braids are all the same size

This was perfectttttt any chance you know how many braids in total ?
Can you do a video on how you prep the hair for knotless?
That’s a good idea .
I think I can.....I think I can!!! I'm going to try 👍
Soo i cant get box braids down for the life of me but i can do knotless feed ins🤦🏽 so backwards lol....n her hair is so long n pretty i wanna see it done without weave
Girl same here good with feed ins n these it’s just something about them box braids 😩😆

That’ I’m not sure but i do have a parting video
The Ebony Jay ok I’m gonna watch it now, congrats on 7k btw 🥳
Thanks love 💕
Your model's hair looks similar to my texture . I am hoping mine turn out this nice ! What length was this hair? 20 or 26?
20
This is really beautiful. Good job!!
Thank you
Can you make a detailed video on how to plait the braids without the weave like describe the motions on what you did to make the braid
I can definitely do that . Thanks for the feedback 🤍
@@The.EbonyJay thank you
I loved your tutorial! Best one I've seen on knotless box braids! You do nice looking, neat braids. Great job lady!! 👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾
What product do you use for the base of the braid? So neat and pretty!
There is a link to the gel in the description love . & thank you i appreciate it
I actually understand it now! Thank you❤️
You welcome
How many parts did you have at the nape of the neck and across the client's edges? I kind of want to know about the size I should be doing! Thanks!
Really hard to explain but i can make my next video on it probably tomorrow or Friday
This video is exactly what I was looking for! Question: what products were you using to slick the hair down?
Check description box
This is the most helpful tutorial!
This is a good size! About how many do you think she had? I want these done, but I don't want the take down to take as long as the install!
Maybe 69
Omg this is so perfect!❤️❤️❤️
Thank you 🙏🏽
I like how those braids are being done.
Thank you
I can do EVERYTHING but part 😩 my parts look like messed up alley ways and streets with potholes just a mess
Beautiful. How long did it take you?
About 5 hours
Can you show how you parted this hairstyle
There is a parting video on my channel for this style already
How many times are you supposed to feed the weave in as you’re going down ? I’m going to try this style this weekend.
You feed in until you get the thickness u want and if u want it longer you can add hair when the ends start to feel thin . To keep the Same density add before the hair starting thinning out to add length . Hope this helps
It looks so easy until I try them on myself
Try on someone else first
Nice! I wanna know where to purchase the hand brace and also, did you feed the same amount of hair in each time?
Hand brace is from the dollar store and no each time i looked at her hair and made sure every piece in my hand hand the same amount . When u braid and a piece is thinner than the other that’s when the braid will start to twist . You have to just eye it and see what you need and what u don’t . Practice

I’m not sure you could be 5’ft I’m 5’6 . Your hair length could be different on me than on u . You can always add hair to make it longer if need be .
Hello , this style is so cute ! and this song is amazing do you know what its called?

Depends on the stylist but if u want a lot of braids and not a lot of space o suggest small
Love ittt..n thank u for teaching me
You welcome ❤️
My hair is about the length of your client’s. What inch hair did you use?
24

Quick question: when you're trimming the flyaways when you finish braiding, how do you know you're not trimming some of her hair also??
You can usually tell one is shinnier than the other
This make it so easy for me

The beat tho🔥🔥 who it’s by ?
are the xtensions you added all the same size x
The pieces probably not
This video helped me a lot !
