I did shmedium knotless braids on myself and it took about 10-12 hours but it was all worth it. Good luck to everyone whos planning on doing their own braids.
Less than one pack of hair? ... I’m sold. I’ve had one pack of hair that I haven’t known what to do with since forever. So now I’m going to put it to use. Wish me luck.
Yes I need to learn this asap cuz these salon people lying saying they can do knotless and overcharging folks but still doing knots smh I am over itttttttt let me take notes 📝 Thanks girl
Gurls I had thee worst experience. Never again. Idc Idc Idc. Sis gave me reg braids basically and overcharged me and had the nerve to post it on her page as knotless. I am so sick of these scamming hairdressers.
This is such a good idea for people with thin and fine hair if they absolutely want to use extensions. We are often trying to make our hair fuller not realising that making our fragile strands carry the weight and lengths of extensions that are several times bigger and longer than our own hair is thinning and breaking our hair further.
Wait 🫸 I thought extensions were to help protect the natural hair and help it grow?? Are you saying braiding your natural hair without extensions is healthier than braiding with extensions??!
I’m here because I braided my own hair for the first time ever a week ago!!!!!! If I of all people can do it then it’s possible for ANYBODY!! I’m so proud rn, I can do my own knotless braids. 💁🏿♀️
i just want to say, i’ve never been able to do box braids, knotless, anything. i watched this tutorial and they came out SO bomb, obviously not professionally neat but really really good for it to be my first time and done at home. she did her thang on this fr
The fact that this look is so elevated and sleek and only requires >1 pack of braiding hair makes it an absolute YES. It's a time investment but so cheap as far as products.
I did this a few months ago on a whim because I had a spare pack of hair and I LOVED IT. I was nervous because of my head shape but it looked beautiful on me. I am going to do it again today, sis you are a LIFE SAVER I LOVE YOU.
I’ve tried this twice on myself. My best knotless braids yet. I love how flat they lay! Definitely takes a little more time but at least parting is easier since I do it on straight hair as well
I've been doing my braids since the virus hit...One thing I've noticed is that None of my braids have fell Out since I've been doing my own hair🙆. Not going back to a stylist for braids Ever again💪🤑...
@Janelle James They make the braids Too Small along you edges front and back....I Always.asked for those braids to be slightly bigger and she never did it I think she just did that cuz she knew that I would need a retouch
I’m getting mines done soon and there only $140 where I live... depends on the stylist and where you are. U want your hair to look nice and sleek but don’t want to pay so much 😂
I’ve been a silent watcher but nooo more!! I love this channel i love what you’re doing and the hustle you’ve taken! You have inspired me to create my channel I’ve uploaded a video today, I would love some support and feedback on my UA-camr journey!
@Desarae Gilbert I did it once and it was the only time my braids would slip. I had to remake them everyday to the point that I just redid them with my natural hair not straightened. And then it hold
Wow, my name is Tasha Camille! But 1st I have to say this girl is GORGEOUS! Not jus because of the obvious but you can tell she's not stuck up or conceited (@ least it seems that way from this video) which that equates to a beautiful soul. I can't stand ppl who act like their ish don't stink. 2nd I use to do micro braids on my hair & others back in the 90s before they became a "trend" now after 20+ yrs doin them my hands lock-up so instead of it taming me 8-12 hrs to finish it takes me days. I am however gonna do this method cus I have curly hair & I see that straightening it 1st is a game changer. Thank you so much. You are appreciated! And everyone that reads this have an awesome & great day.

I've been doing this method for years & people always ask me how it looks so real. Regular braiders add too much hair, it's just not practical or comfortable.
Exactly. Some people enjoy thicker braids but my usual braider makes them thick all the time when I'd rather have thinner braids that are uniform length all the way down
She’s braiding underhand (stated at 7:40) which also has a lot to do with the flatness. It basically means if it was connected to her scalp it would be a French braid vs overhand being a cornrow. I’m definitely trying it this way, look how flat it gets even in her jumbo video! Her goddess braid tutorial is overhand if you wanted to see what I was talking about.
I was literally on the phone about to start my knotless box braids and then I hung up and saw a UA-cam notification from 11 mins ago on How to do Knotless box braids 😳😳 But perfect timing bc I can’t get my part right 😭 lol
These are beautiful and you did a great job! At first I saw how long the video was and was like “I’m not going to watch this whole thing”, but every minute was worth it! You did a great job explaining. I’m going to try this soon!
I loved and hated this tutorial at the same time because I just paid $220 for knot less braids and if I had known how easy it was to DIY them most of that money would still be in the bank right now. You made that so simple I'm going to try to do them myself. Thanks for the Hair Growth Serum tip too. I can't wait to see the results.
Girl, you just helped me do much with your feed-in method. I've watched so many tutorials on knotless braids and was always left confused on how to feed-in the hair extension. Your method is the simplest I found so far.👍
Who is lazy enough to not comb your hair out before they straighten it in the first place… that’s just sheer laziness and tacky. You did an amazing job on your braids ❤ gorgeous
I’ve been wanting braids and to try them myself and looking for a light-weight method! Thank you! I’m going to keep watching to try and get that method down!
I watched this last summer and i tried this and failed miserably but thank you for helping me think i could do something i accurately thought would be impossible. Idk when ill try again but in the meantime ill enjoy watching you do a beautiful job 😭
The last time I spritz my braids, I ended up with no hair when it was time to take it my braids. Please be careful with that spritz. You did a really great job!!!
I tried these knotless braids and followed your every step, they came out great!! Thank you so much for this tutorial, you turned me into a braiding master, so thrilled I'll definitely be doing this style again!! 🤗
OMW!! I have seen this device before and I got mine instantly after I saw my friend use it. She took less than 20mins. I have really course hair so you can imagine how badly I wanted to get it like yesterday. Anything for an extra hour and half of sleep before work right? Lol, but seriously, I literally got mine like an hour after I saw her use it 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️😅 But I got mine from straightn.com and they have pretty good reasonable prices and free shipping with fast shipping. Lol you can imagine how excited I was. They are having a really good discount at the moment. You have such long hair and it looks so healthy. I envy it, it’s just beautiful!! The video is really informative, I’ll get right to doing mine this weekend. Thank you for the tip of starting knotless 🤍🤍
The only way I can get my partings to look any kind of decent is to have double mirrors...I was literally crying into my cornflakes before I realized I need eyes in the back of my head..😭😭. you make it look so easy!
I’ve been wanting to do these for a while and this just convinced me to finally go for it! I think I’m going to add human curly hair at the ends so it stays soft feeling and looks super natural as well!
i have two packs of hair that need some love, i’ll be doing this soon🥰. also parting the hair before hand made SO MUCH SENSE, and the straightening made them so neat, I can’t wait to try and i hope mine turn out like yours💗
yes! love this. i have the tymo straightener & a pack of hair already, def gonna try this soon and do it completely! i always stop because i cant get my parts straight but practice will make perfect.
Trying this out today and I definitely need more practice on feeding the hair in on top of my hair being very thin so my braids are tinier but I’m almost to the crown and it’s only been about 7 hours of work. I took a break every 60-90 mins
i just saw this video on snapchat it was just suggested to me and i had to look you up bc one you are one of the prettiest people i’ve ever seen and i love watching you do hair
The vids that I saw using the Tymo, the tight curled ladies blew out the hair first. They combed a bit slower and used hair protectant and used the gloves to hold on to the hair until they got to the tip of their hair. You did well and the braids are awesome!
Awesome job. This will work great for fine hair. Self installation of knotless braids are not for the weak, I know that from experience. Keep up the good work. 👍👌
I see it takes time and money to style the daughters of ZION hair. It is the best hair you can be born with. Thanks for the video. It shows the work required. If it ain't nappy you ain't happy.
Tell the Truth Tasha...you really are a Stylist, huh?! LOL You be killin! 😍😁 Edit: And Shout out to your Lion's Mane at 14:50 !!!! Tip: For my "4C" sistahs flat ironing it too straight isn't going to give you the best grip, even though it will be straight. Some times it's too slippery to braid (mostly if you're doing from the root) so doing it in it's "natural setting" blow dried out well would also suffice.
Those are just the braids I want for Summer vacation! I will use your parting method but I don’t want them that long. It takes too much time to braid long hair. ☺️ You did a fantastic job!!! 👍🏽
These are THE cleanest knotless braids I’ve ever seen. You did that.

Did you also do them this small?
Not sure which one I'm more impressed with...the straightening brush or your parts😊 They both the bomb👍
Right!! She did an amazing job on both!!!!!
Nah that straightening brush doesn’t work for everybody. That thang devoured the back of my hair. I’ll never forgive it.

Nice!!! How long it took you?
Was this your first time braiding your own hair?
This method works. I tried it and its definitely worth the time and effort. Super light weight and great for protective styling. Would 100% recommend
I wanna try this but how do you manage product buildup? And do you shampoo the same way as regular braids?
I avoid buildup altogether by only using oils! I sometimes wet my edges to remove edge control buildup and I usually wash it after 3 weeks.
What's your hair type?
Yanique West probably 3a
How would u take this out without cutting your natural hair ?

Awesome job. This will work great for fine hair. Self installation of knotless braids are not for the weak, I know that from experience. Keep up the good work. 👍👌
Wow! That straightening comb is awesome! Beautiful braids!!
I see it takes time and money to style the daughters of ZION hair. It is the best hair you can be born with. Thanks for the video. It shows the work required. If it ain't nappy you ain't happy.
Idk what’s more impressive her commitment or her sectioning 😩🙌
Tell the Truth Tasha...you really are a Stylist, huh?! LOL You be killin! 😍😁
Edit: And Shout out to your Lion's Mane at 14:50 !!!!
You did a fantastic job!!! 👍🏽
