Much to Emile’s chagrin in the Virbank Complex, the Static Ability’s hidden effect of making Electric-type Pokémon more likely to appear is actually excellent here if you want to catch Tynamo, which eventually evolves into the powerful and effectively weakness-free Eelektross.
A hint with the Tynamo line. If you're patient, Tynamo's evolved form, Eelektrik, can be found in the wild later in this game. If you catch it as an Eelektrik later on, you might save on the headache.
@@Venemofthe888 While true, it's also the ONLY electric type in that floor of that cave, so just grab a temporary pokemon with Static and you'll find a ton of them.

Chargestone cave is one of if not the coolest caves in the Pokémon series. As a kid I would like to just hang and mess with the stones. It also has some really cool Pokémon in it
I was shocked with how much I liked the place, and I couldn't help but charge in. When it comes to best cave in the pokemon games, from the first to the most current, Chargestone gets my volt.

this story is going to get lost in the void, but i think it's important for me to share it to show how much this LP means to me. I've been a huge fan of chugga's for a fairly long time (i think okami was the first let's play I watched with my elder sister). I remember being in gym class in 8th grade, and not being the most athletic person (or rather, not being percieved as athletic--I was an avid runner and competitive dancer, but I have an eye disorder so ball sports just never were an option for me since I can't see fast movements well). So we're playing dodgeball bc it was required of all of us to play, and some prick decides it would be funny to throw a dodgeball square at my eyes because they wanted to make fun of me. it hits my glasses, breaking them in such a way that the metal on my glasses scratched the inside of my right eye. I felt so embarrassed, and the gym teacher immediately stopped the game and made me go with some, at the time, random kid. on the way to the nurses office, this kid was super friendly towards me and asked me about my hobbies. I mentioned video games, and we bonded over pokemon. he told me his favorite let's player was doing a pokemon BW let's play, and my immediate thoughts were: no way, this man watches chuggaaconroy! after i got checked by the nurse, who told me to go home for the day, the kid who walked me to the office also decided to cut school for the rest of the day and we just talked about chuggaa's videos. We extensively talked about N's character and how he's arguably the most nuanced character in the pokemon franchise. We talked about chuggaa's current BW team, old videos, even some TRG stuff! we became good friends. he lent me his copy of Black2 because I mentioned I hadn't played it. I introduced him to my at the time friend group and he joined our friend circle almost immediately. However, good things didn't last forever... about a year later, our friendship took a turn for the worse. he was constantly angry with me, and didn't like to own up to any of his own mistakes. he also turned into the type of person who was an instigator for drama and rumors, and came up with a lot of foul things to say about my friends and me. it got really bad during my sophomore year of high school; where he outright screamed at me in front of our calc class and would tell everyone he knew he was going to 'murder me with the nearest knife he finds and piss on my grave' and started asking some people at school where I lived so he could 'kill me in my sleep'. he eventually apologized for some of the stuff he said, but never did quite own up to all his mistakes. i never really talked to him after he blew up on me, but he gave me his copy of Black2 to keep when he apologized and told me that even if we never did talk again, he wanted me to remember some of the good memories we had together. I never touched the copy after he gave it to me. I hadn't really been catching up with chugga's lets plays after getting busy in senior year of high school and moving across the country for college. however, when i saw chuggaa playing BW2, I couldn't resist playing along with this lets play. It's given me such a sense of nostalgia for the good memories I had with this friend, and even though he ended up being a really shit person, I'm still beyond grateful for the memories we made through your let's play of BW. So, thank you chuggaa, for reawakening some bittersweet memories of mine, and proving to me that video games do have the power to change lives. p.s. i wonder if the ex-friend i'm talking about is out here in the comments of these videos, also watching along--if you are, i want you to know that i really do cherish the times that we were good friends, and i still think BW is my favorite gen. we might not be friends anymore, but I hope you think of our good times together when playing pokemon games and rejoice as well.
Can we appreciate how Chugga manages to give such thorough information in a way that even someone with intense ADHD can keep their attention? I can hardly even watch TV shows anymore because I’m getting sidetracked midway into an episode, but I’m glued to the set here
9:39 fun fact, this dust cloud mechanic is why the fastest pokemon in bw speedrunning is not in fact emboar, but stoutland! there's no way to turn off the dust cloud, so it's faster to use a lighter pokemon. magnet pull is a weird addition to be sure, but when there's pokemon like haxorus or pangoro with mold breaker that can learn earthquake, it's weird but given a purpose on pokemon who's levitation can be bypassed
So if there was a “Low Turn Count” category of Pokémon speedrunning, would that make Emboar faster? (Actually, I’m kinda surprised I haven’t heard of that being a thing yet, because it sounds like it would allow for some unique strategies by using the extra time on the field to grab extra goodies)
I never knew you could visit Chargestone Cave before challenging Clay. I always go straight into the gym and steamroll the place first just because my team can handle it. Despite that, Chargestone Cave is one of my favorite areas. It’s such a vibe w/ the electricity flowing and glowing. Side note, I like that the tiny Joltik in bios gag is still around
That sign just outside the gym calling Clay an "underground boss", plus his attire and Ground-type specialty, made me realize he's basically Unova's Giovanni

Also Joltik, Tynamo, and Klink have a special place in my heart as in X and Y, I made an Emmet and Ingo recreational team. I even won against people at a con I went to.
18:51, I feel like in this case, the idea for this pokemon was recycled into gogoat in the next gen being a grass goat with a really grassy coat on his back. I wonder if being grass/ground would have made gogoat more viable in competitive?
The episode only just started, but right when you said "we're not even in chargestone cave" my headphones glitched out for a moment and it came out really loud and bitcrushed, I thought it was a joke in the video about the connection before I went back a few seconds to see
FYI: You can get tynamo later, much closer to its evolution level. I would recommend you catch it then. Also if you have a magneton you can evolve it with one level in Chargestone cave
Yeah, I've done this before, it makes raising Tynamo WAY easier. Also it's important to mention Magneton learns Tri Attack with a Heart Scale so teach that before evolving it.
@@mattybutler1985 if you want to have tri-attack, of course. I find that flash cannon, thunderbolt, volt switch and signal beam makes for a good set, and swapping a move for thunder wave can be good for catching Pokemon
I JUST noticed watching this video that the sound effect of N’s Pokémon appearing is the same arpeggio that is featured prominently in N’s battle theme!!!
Laid up in bed after my wisdom teeth yesterday, woke up and started watching your platinum playthrough and am on episode 20! Was so happy to get your notification as always!
JOLTIK! One of my Top 5 favourite Pokemon! In both Gen 5 games I've played (White and White 2), I always made sure to catch a Joltik. It's so FRIGGING CUTE! And its evolution Galvantula is a cool looking Pokemon as well, though Joltik will always be my favourite out of the two.
*Inside Clay's Gym* Pignati: So, this is the fifth Gym location run by Clay. McFly: I did hear the guy likes mining so having his Gym be underground sure is unique. Jade: Well it looks like we'll have to navigate through all these conveyors in order to find Clay and have Aidan kick his butt. Aidan: Exactly. Other than the fact that I'm a Water-Type Pokemon with no water moves to my name. Harmony: Luckily, Ground-Type Pokemon are also weak against grass and ice moves. Aidan: Really. Oh well that's just great, except for the fact I don't have grass and ice moves either! All I have is normal, poison, ground, and bug moves. Harmony: Well according to my analysis, your happiness stat is high enough for Return to do great damage, as well as Signal Beam being strong as well. I can determine that those moves alone with be enough to solo the Gym leader Clay. Which makes little sense, as 'clay' is a finely-grained natural soil that when exposed to water develops a plasticity consistency which can then be molded into certain objects. McFly: *raises hand* Pignati: McFly put your hand down. McFly: *puts it down* Shanir: Look, let's just focus and get to Clay now. Nothing to it... wait, Ontario? Ontario: Weeee! Moving sidewalks! *steps on the conveyor* Weeeeee.... Everyone else: Ontario! Jade: Quick! Everyone split up and find him! *The others hop onto the conveyor and proceed to navigate the large maze of platforms and trainers along the way, all while everything is super dark. Eventually, Aidan ends of finding Ontario, but he also finds Clay as well* Clay: So, you wish to take on the Gym leader of Driftveil City? The one, the only, the great and mighty Clay himself? Aidan: Uh, well uh, I was just looking for my friend and... Ontario: Aidan! I just told this guy that you're are gonna crush him and his Pokemon in battle with your awesome Water moves! Aidan: *nervous chuckle* Ontario, you do realize that I don't... Clay: Now hold on there one moment! No one walks up to a Gym leader and decides not to battle 'um. So then, you and I are gonna tussle right now, whether you like it or not. Ontario: Oh just you wait, my water bros' gonna take you down! Aidan: *in his head* For the love of Arceus, just give me a water move please!
Cheren: Huh, what's that noise? SBPkmn Trainer: I thought they would be here. That's weird? Cheren: Hello. You are? SBT: My name isn't important. I ne- Cheren: Hi, "isn't important, " I'm Cheren. (Chuckles) Now I understand dad jokes. SBT: Hah hah, real funny. I lost an Ivysaur, Charizard, and Squirtle. Here are their images. They are all also holding everstones. Cheren: Okay. Aren't you that trainer from the popular show, Smash Bros? SBT: Yes, BUT I HAVE A MATCH IN LESS THAN TEN MINUTES, AND WE NEED TO HURRY! Cheren: Well, the Ivysaur is right there. SBT: Hm? OH, YOU'RE RIGHT! Cheren: I just need to contact a friend real fast. SBT: THIS IS NOT THE TIME! Cheren: Okay, fine. (Applies incense) Let's go. SBT: Thanks. Meanwhile... Blair: ACHOO. Who would be thinking of me now?
On the note of Deerling and Sawsbuck’s Japanese names implying that it was originally meant to be a goat inspired Pokémon combined with the design of its third stage that never made it into the game I wonder if all of that had any inspiration on Skidoo and Gogoat in the following generation because I can definitely see it with the shaggy leaf fur on that final evolution for sawsbuck
While we're drawing comparisons between those two, I still think Gogoat looks just as much Grass/Normal as Sawsbuck does, pure Grass typing on it feels lacking
I will say, as someone who used tymano in scarlet and violet, its useful only for thunder wave. It having no super effective weakness will let it survive at least one turn to use thunder wave on a dangerous pokemon, or help when catching new mons. By the time it stops being helpful for this, itll be close to evolution! -someone whos good at finding use for any pokemon
It already is probably his strongest team member. With the worst moves available to it. The moment Aiden gets access to Surf/Scald, Ice Beam and Shadow Ball it is over. World domination
You know chuggaa, i have to thank you for your Black and White playthrough when you gave me your idea for arming Ferrothorn with the Rocky Helmet. thanks to you i came up with a nasty ferrothorn in Shield. The nature that gives plus def/minus speed, lowering the evs of speed to near nothing, maxing out Atk, Def, and Hp as much as i could, then using the moveset of Curse, Rest, Gyro Ball, and Ingrain. i dominated all physical attackers teams during some of my SWSH competitive times.
Pignati, Entry Log 30: Phew, from no battles to all battles and in the process got Heat Crash. I think it’s a unique move that only my pokémon specie can use but I’ve been fairly sheltered for most of my life until recently so I can’t say with certainty. Anyways it’s a pretty good move I think and takes complete advantage of my above average girth. It’ll only get stronger after I evolve which I am getting fairly close to. After capturing more pokémon who use to belong to N all of whom had the same thing to say about him as the last batch. We head towards the next Gym, the fifth one, not long after the fourth. I can’t help but feel like things are moving fairly quickly all things considered. We’ve been doing this for what, two months? This is only my 30th Entry Log but there have been some weeks in between that me and my friends don’t have anything to add too. Still even after all of that extra time we haven’t been on this journey for long and yet we’ve done so much and grown quite a bit. McFly, Entry Log 25: Oh, if only I had Ice Punch. Then again, I’m still relative frail so… yeah, I guess even with it I’d still rather not take part in this gym. On the other hand, Aiden is doing wonders! Even without any water type moves he’s so powerful that his Signal Beam is enough, helps that oddly enough a lot of the trainers have Sandiles so his bug type attack does some serious damage. Even without it Aiden is so naturally strong he’s able to pack quite a mean punch with Return despite lacking STAB and his natural physical might not being the highest among mons. Truly he is a natural fighter and I’m pretty intimidated knowing that once he gets a water move and ice move, he will be cleaning houses of pokémon like no one’s business. Aiden, Entry Log 20: Finally fighting again. It’s been very slow thanks to lacking water or ice type moves. But ironically this Ground Type Gym ran by the man named Clay has been my time to shine. Ironic because I have no effective moves against ground types and I don’t resist ground type moves So, by all means I’m pretty neutral against these guys. Yet I’m just so powerful in my own way that my Return and Signal Beam attacks are enough to push through and I’m tough enough to take many hits as well. We did so well we got the big man himself but if my instincts are correct, he’ll have least one pokémon that’ll force me to have to retreat. But I’m confident Jade will be able to take care of that one. Jade, Entry Log 13: Hmmm… still thinking about yesterday. I did what I did out of anger for my friend and because I genuinely believed Harmony needed a good verbal smacking. But for some reason beyond my comprehension, I am feeling a little guilty. Not by a lot but Harmony isn’t a bad person so I do hope she isn’t too wounded by my harsh words. *sigh* maybe the good nature of the others is rubbing off on me. Anyways we’re in the ground gym now and a part of me is happy to know my type is being represented by a gym and it’s gym leader. But I must say talk about weaklings, Aiden’s strong sure but he’s lacking his water powers thanks to evolving so late. Surely you all can put up a much better fight than what you did. Oh well let’s hope Clay is a much better fighter and can show us the dangers of Ground Types. Harmony, Entry Log 4: I… I can’t get what happened out of my mind. I just don’t understand. I wasn’t being mean I was trying to help give pointers. Well, I guess they were unnecessary, Aiden has proven to be quite the natural fighter. Still… what was I doing wrong? Jade was pretty darn upset with me and Aiden didn’t do anything to defend me so… was I really in the wrong? What did Jade say… I was overwhelming him? I didn’t notice but if that is true then… oh boy I might need to work on my people skills. I got along with Pignati and McFly just fine so I didn’t realize I might be lacking in some areas. Now I feel really bad. I want to go apologize to Aiden but I don’t know how… Jade, maybe she could help? I could just go to the to the other two but I think I owe Jade an apology as well and I think between girls I might just listen to her better. *Just want to take the time to tell you all that games do a thing called condensing worlds. Meaning 90% of the time when games have a wide world to explored a lot of it is shrunken down for player enjoyment. So towns, cities, and forests, etc., that seem relatively small wouldn’t be in reality. For example, most of what is shown in Pokémon Towns and Cities show what are considered to be necessary to have in game or to fill out enough space to keep things from feeling empty.* *In reality all pokémon towns and cities are densely populated full of houses, stores, and people. We just don’t see that because it would be an unnecessary number of details for a kid's games. This applies to both 2d and 3d games of all genres. This is all to say that when I tell you Blaise and her Team are on Clay’s platform taking a small break before the big battle. They are not cramped onto what looks to be an relatively tiny platform that’s suppose to be the battlegrounds for the gym battles.* *So anyways, Blaise and her Team are currently on Clay’s platform taking a small break before the big battle* Everyone was stretching and psyching themselves up as Blaise kept an eye on Clay who patiently waited for them to approach him and say they will battle. As they did that Harmony took the time to float over to Jade who had just finished stretching and was now focusing on the battle ahead. When she spotted Harmony, she narrowed her eyes but didn’t say anything. “Uh Jade?” she then spoke. “Yes?” Jade replies, a bit of a growl in her voice but nothing serious. “… what did I do wrong?” she then asked, her eye and body looking very sad and embarrassed. Jade eyed the colourful avianoid pokémon before sighing, “Look, some people have social issues. In the end it's on you to be able to pick up on this. But if you yea really can’t figure it out. Aiden is a heavy introvert. He prefers a lot of time to himself and having space from others. He can be with people and a group but has a limited time on how long he can handle doing so.” “It’s not that he doesn’t enjoy company but some people just have less endurance, less energy to be able to handle it. Let me put it this way, you thrive off on being with people, it gives you energy. Aiden needs alone time to build that energy up so that he can handle being with people. Which by the way, I am quite the same.” Jade explains the best she can. “Ontop of that, Aiden has a hard time keeping up with people who are not calm. Ironically, he’s fantastic at fighting and is able to keep up with the fast pace of combat. But when he’s with people he needs breathing room and they have to be calm enough for him to socialize.” “You Harmony. Are an over four foot and a half ball of energy and that stresses him out. Which causes him to retreat inwards into himself which causes him to lose focus on the conversation when you don’t give him a chance to process what you’re saying and let him give his own thoughts.” Jade finished with. “You understand now?” Harmony listened to every word and looked to be thinking on them in a genuine way. “Yeah… yeah I think I do. Thank you Jade. I… I know I am a very rash person by nature. But I don’t want to be a jerk. So I’ll work on my social skills and apologize to Aiden soon.” The psychic/flying type promises before floating away. Jade simply watches on and chuckles to herself. “Hmmm, I guess I am good at talking after all.~” she noted to herself with amusement. Jade 2’04”, Pignati & Aiden 3’03”, McFly 3’07”, Harmony 4’07” Harmony 30.9 lbs. Jade 33.1 lbs. Aiden 63.9 lbs. McFly 66.1 lbs. Pignati 122.4 lbs.
Magnet Rise on Tynamo is an insurance policy against opposing Pokémon that want to change its ability. Yeah... Insurance policy... Let's just go with that. I'm sure there are LOTS OF situations where that's useful. Lol
Us nuzlockers don't actually hate the outside of Chargestone cave since you can't catch anything on the outside lol. The lady on the top floor in the pokemon centre gives you some luxury balls i think. Also that cut deerling was probably recycled into the pokemon Gogoat for the next generation since it does share a few similarities there. Petilil was also going to have a middle stage too but was also cut.
Yeah, what we really hate is the _trainers_ on the inside. Chargestone Cave is where, in a Nuzlocke, the game finally decides to stop playing nice, and sends the Assassin Squads after you. You finally get out of the “Pursuit Trap” stage of the game, only to fall out of the frying pan
Another thing to note about Elektross. It gains access to Coil, a phenomenal boosting move that very few pokemon get. It raises Attack, Defense, and accuracy, which makes it's Wild Charge have no sorts of accuracy problems. It's probably the best user of Coil.
Wild Charge is actually 100% accurate to begin with However, there IS another cheeky use for Coil’s accuracy boosts: Zap Cannon. Normally a coin toss for massive damage and instant Para, Coiling a couple times will suddenly give what amounts to Damage dealing Thunder Wave
@@spindash64 I legitimately thought wild charge was 95 percent accurate, omg I have been living a lie. The only reason I didn't mention Zap Cannon is due to not being sure it learned it in Gen 5.
Y'know, I missed doing these timestamps for bios. If it helps making the eventual compilation of all the bios, I'll be more than glad! 1:50 Nosepass bio (did you know you can have a poisoned steel type very easily? Works in all generations, and unlike Scyther and Karrablast, no friends are required!) 3:10 Joltik bio (it's so tiny! And yet so good with would-be shaky accuracy moves!) 4:18 Ferroseed bio (Meta mon alert part 2! The other tank! 5:46 Klink bio (oh, I didn't know it had both Plus and Minus) 6:58 Tynamo bio (No weaknesses! If only it had the stats to back that up. It'll get them eventually) 8:23 Boldore bio (You better have a friend or an eviolite, because this thing won't become any better)
So glad I'm finally caught up with all the episodes it's been so much fun and to hear Emile laughing like a child again warms my heart❤ Never change man
I'm not sure what would be worse: the rope being a "BDSP" suggestion towards a 14-year-old, or the implication that comes to MY mind when hearing a 'fan' handed her a rope. Either way, I think Blaise should call the police.
Ferroseed, my beloved! I loved using my lil spikey buddy, he was a lot of fun and he clutched a lot of battles. Also special shoutout to Joltik because he got me back into pokemon since i skipped og bw, chargestine cave really made my b2w2 experience a great one!
I like that they decided to allow the players to explore a small portion of Chargestone Cave before Driftveil Gym. While none of the Pokemon here are going to be that useful in the gym, it's still a neat sneak peak at the next area, and helps balance out the pokemon distribution a bit more. Beside, Chargestone Cave is a cool dungeon, and it's home to Joltik, the preevolved form of Galvantula, my second favorite Unovan Pokemon. So that's neat. As for Driftveil Gym, the maze is a cool gimmick, and is quite a bit more complicated than the previous gym (and it's own BW counterpart), but the trainers... let's jsut say we aren't lacking in options for good Grass and Water types at this point...
The thing about Tynamo learning Magnet Rise is giving it a way around its natural enemy: Mold Breaker Excadrill, as when the ability is bypassed the immunity from Magnet Rise still stops Ground Type attacks:)
Question of the day! What are your favorite Fire-type Pokemon? For me Incineroar is not only my favorite fire type, not just my favorite starter, but my favorite Pokemon period. The design is amazing and just looking at it, you can see the design alone is brimming with personality. It is a fun idea, a wrestling tiger, and it has a good movepool and has a fantastic typing and usefulness in battle. Personally, I am so glad he got into Smash, instead of Decidueye. Decidueye is legit my second least favorite starter after Cinderace. I do kind of like Hisuian Decidueye though. I think it's Samurai look is much more fun than the archer.
Braxien. I have a soft spot for Magical Girls and that's what its design reminds me of. Always put an Everstone on it when I use it in a Kalos run, because I have...much less positive thoughts towards Delphox.
Honestly not a huge fan of fire type Pokemon but if I had to pick I guess that goes to either Magmar (iconic for a reason) or Delphox as I like the typing and the simple design
I feel like you’ve made several Persona references these last few videos here, and now I’m picturing those games as future Let’s Plays. I would be more than down for that.

I love this series and always look forward to the Pokemon bios! I do want to mention one thing when it comes to Tynamo specifically, though it is totally personal experience. When I played Black and White a LOT when I was younger I would almost always try to get an Eelekross. A 5% encounter AND it has no weaknesses? It must be good! I never thought there was any problems with levelling it up to Eelektrik until Chuggaa made the original BW series and talked about how excrutiating it is to level up. I thought "Oh man, I must have not even realized as a kid!" and promptly forgot about it... until recently. I replayed White 2 when this series started and thought it would be a good opportunity to revisit my old friend and see just how painful it really was to level it up and... it was fine? Like really, it's not exactly strong but you have SO many ways to get levels quickly in this game, whether it's the EXP Share, repeatable battles, rustling grass, not to mention the upcoming Lucky Egg before the next gym. It's far from strong at this point, but it can do enough and I really don't find it difficult at all to level up. It doesn't even evolve too late by Unova standards. I used a Rufflet and a Noibat in USUM (games with pretty high level ceilings) and that was a pain. Even Scraggy is more annoying than Tynamo because it at least looks helpful. Anyway, this isn't a slight in the slightest (haha) towards Chuggaa's opinions of levelling up Tynamo since the end result is unanimously great, just thought I would mention it.
The arrival of nosepass in chargestone cave made me remember when I finally found out a perfect name for the nosepass line, "Moairo" a combination of the moai heads in the Easter Island and mario because of the mustache.
So whatever was left of Deerling and Sawsbuck original concept was turned into Skiddo and Gogoat, and still no third form, no wonder it looks so unfinished. (also wild goats live in deserts, and rocky mountain areas) (both also get Horn Leech) A new snail - well if it didn't end up becoming variant Sliggoo and Goodra; then maybe it could be some combination of Water, Fairy, Grass, Bug, Steel, Poison, Electric
10:46 I like to interpret it as they're actually haters saying they are fans and they're giving the player rope to h/ g themselves with as a sick joke 💀
7:22 Well, know we know what Chuggaa would give to someone doing an Egglocke. So could that planned Deerling evoloution be the predecessor to the Gogoat line?
16:13 Emile making a reference to Persona 5 Also Emile: referencing the wrong character but bc they are twins it's easy to make that mistake even if they have different haircuts

Much to Emile’s chagrin in the Virbank Complex, the Static Ability’s hidden effect of making Electric-type Pokémon more likely to appear is actually excellent here if you want to catch Tynamo, which eventually evolves into the powerful and effectively weakness-free Eelektross.
it would be even better is Joltik wasn't there, but yeah, very useful
You can also find eelektrik in a later cave in the basement so it might be easier to find there
Only issue is you have to raise a tynamo
@Deluxray I mean if you are the type of player that wants to start training Pokemon from their base stage then it is a pretty good tip to do.
Whoever made Joltik super duper tiny in their bio I applaud you so much I love Joltik so much and you've done my little one Justice😢😂❤
Hahaha, thank you! That was something I did.
I see Chugga is still on a streak of naming the Xtransceiver in every possible incorrect way. I like it. 😂
Granted there’s different ways of saying words tho. But it’s still funny seeing Chuggaconroy saying Xtransceiver in other ways tho.
In one episode he called it the Xtransrights
Yeah, streak of soon to be six years too lol.

Never going with the official pronunciation cross-tranciever or the most popular fan pronunciation ex-tranciever.
A hint with the Tynamo line. If you're patient, Tynamo's evolved form, Eelektrik, can be found in the wild later in this game. If you catch it as an Eelektrik later on, you might save on the headache.
It's a 5% encounter rate in the other cave so it still could be a pain to find
@@Venemofthe888 While true, it's also the ONLY electric type in that floor of that cave, so just grab a temporary pokemon with Static and you'll find a ton of them.
@@TrueLooneymanisn't it like all the way in victory road though?
@@tsyumamatsuthehavenofguard32 No. It can be found before the last gym, which is of a type it would have an advantage over. So it's very helpful to get
Also, if you do use tynamo, id recommend not evolving eelektrik until 44 as it learns thunderbolt, which eelektross wont get until you receive the TM

Good place to get a tynamo which evolves into a really really good pokemon to use
AGREED! It doesn't feel like a generic dark, gery place, but the electricity surging through it give it cool vibes.

Did not know that until now. Thanks!
this story is going to get lost in the void, but i think it's important for me to share it to show how much this LP means to me.
I saw it. That's beautiful
Ok guys can we make sure this story isn’t lost to the void
You will not get buried
Wow. Sorry the friendship didn't work out in the end, but still a great story. We will not allow this to get buried if we have any say in it.
Saw this, someone hide the shovels to keep this from getting buried.
Not sure if you know this Chuggaa, but the special animation for N’s Pokèmon makes a sound that mimics the opening notes to N’s battle theme!
Aidan doesn't have fun with silly water moves, he simply beams signals of his sheer power at his enemies
mind bullets
unfortunately he missed out on Aurora Beam, which requires you to evolve into a Vaporeon before lvl 21
Neither did I, granted they clearly intend for you to do the gym first

That sign just outside the gym calling Clay an "underground boss", plus his attire and Ground-type specialty, made me realize he's basically Unova's Giovanni
An actually good Giovanni.
Seriously the fact game freak actively trying to make him evil over and over is very. Very dumb
Yeah except Clay's a nice guy, just busy all the time. In his official artwork, he's on the phone and checking his watch.

*Inside Clay's Gym*
Pignati: So, this is the fifth Gym location run by Clay.
McFly: *raises hand*
Pignati: McFly put your hand down.
McFly: *puts it down*
Shanir: Look, let's just focus and get to Clay now. Nothing to it... wait, Ontario?
Ontario: Weeee! Moving sidewalks! *steps on the conveyor* Weeeeee....
Everyone else: Ontario!
Jade: Quick! Everyone split up and find him!
*The others hop onto the conveyor and proceed to navigate the large maze of platforms and trainers along the way, all while everything is super dark. Eventually, Aidan ends of finding Ontario, but he also finds Clay as well*
Clay: So, you wish to take on the Gym leader of Driftveil City?
*Weeeeeeees happy*

“Is this some kind of BDS…P joke?”
Thaaat’s Emile!
Gawd, watching you play is making wanna play through Pokemon B&W and B&W2 again. Gen 5 was and still is one of the best Pokemon games.
That episode title really *charged* me with excitement.
Emile then proceeded to fight every other gym trainer off screen
Also I feel like Aidan is gonna carry this entire playthrough
It already is probably his strongest team member. With the worst moves available to it. The moment Aiden gets access to Surf/Scald, Ice Beam and Shadow Ball it is over. World domination
On first glance you can confused that thumbnail for a regular shiny
10:06 pleasantly surprised that news of the Roggenrola pencil sharpener has reached Chugga!
Black and White 2's protags must have superpowers if they're able to see the effect of N's Pokemon upon encounter.
Aura sensing probably is what most would say
Ironic because I have no effective moves against ground types and I don’t resist ground type moves
So, by all means I’m pretty neutral against these guys.
For example, most of what is shown in Pokémon Towns and Cities show what are considered to be necessary to have in game or to fill out enough space to keep things from feeling empty.*
*In reality all pokémon towns and cities are densely populated full of houses, stores, and people. We just don’t see that because it would be an unnecessary number of details for a kid's games. This applies to both 2d and 3d games of all genres. This is all to say that when I tell you Blaise and her Team are on Clay’s platform taking a small break before the big battle. They are not cramped onto what looks to be an relatively tiny platform that’s suppose to be the battlegrounds for the gym battles.*
*So anyways, Blaise and her Team are currently on Clay’s platform taking a small break before the big battle*
Everyone was stretching and psyching themselves up as Blaise kept an eye on Clay who patiently waited for them to approach him and say they will battle.
He can be with people and a group but has a limited time on how long he can handle doing so.”
“It’s not that he doesn’t enjoy company but some people just have less endurance, less energy to be able to handle it. But when he’s with people he needs breathing room and they have to be calm enough for him to socialize.”
“You Harmony. Are an over four foot and a half ball of energy and that stresses him out. Which causes him to retreat inwards into himself which causes him to lose focus on the conversation when you don’t give him a chance to process what you’re saying and let him give his own thoughts.” Jade finished with. “You understand now?”
Harmony listened to every word and looked to be thinking on them in a genuine way.
Jade 2’04”, Pignati & Aiden 3’03”, McFly 3’07”, Harmony 4’07”

Magnet Rise on Tynamo is an insurance policy against opposing Pokémon that want to change its ability. Yeah... Insurance policy... Let's just go with that. I'm sure there are LOTS OF situations where that's useful. Lol
For reference, the landing Pokemon animation has 3 versions:
Wild Charge is actually 100% accurate to begin with
However, there IS another cheeky use for Coil’s accuracy boosts: Zap Cannon.
Works in all generations, and unlike Scyther and Karrablast, no friends are required!)
3:10 Joltik bio (it's so tiny! And yet so good with would-be shaky accuracy moves!)
4:18 Ferroseed bio (Meta mon alert part 2! The other tank!
5:46 Klink bio (oh, I didn't know it had both Plus and Minus)
6:58 Tynamo bio (No weaknesses! If only it had the stats to back that up. It'll get them eventually)
8:23 Boldore bio (You better have a friend or an eviolite, because this thing won't become any better)
So glad I'm finally caught up with all the episodes it's been so much fun and to hear Emile laughing like a child again warms my heart❤ Never change man
When you said the fans gave you rope my brain went to a MUCH darker place.
I can think of a use for Magnet Rise on Tynamo: if an opposing Pokémon has an ability like Mold Breaker, this can basically negate it.
Yeah, I was gonna say, magnet rise was probably added to account for mold breaker. Mold breaker is such a good ability for ground users.
I ADORE that Chugga brought back the gag of making Joltik's bio picture tiny because it's the smallest Pokemon
I personally love all the alolan starters
I like Charizard.
Chandelure is my favorite Ghost Type, but favorite Fire Type idk. Cant think if I’m as found of other Fire Types rn.
When wondering Chargestone Cave, it’s hard not to feel… N-lightened.
Charge stone cave is so cool looking. Probably the best looking cave in the Pokemon series. Also damn episode 30… nice 💫
I feel like you’ve made several Persona references these last few videos here, and now I’m picturing those games as future Let’s Plays.
I would be more than down for that.
16:12 Seeing Chugga reference Persona 5 always makes my day.
He has said he’s been playing it
@@Jessica_SchweserHe said that he completed the Royal Ending about a month or two ago in a Tweet thread. I'm glad that he enjoyed it!
I am sorry to say that until you get to the Move Reminder, you won’t get a Water move until Level 37. Either that, or when you get Surf
Pignati: wow charges tone cave is so pretty and it was nice to see bianca again...
McFly: Zzt zzt exploring chargestone cave is making me hungry... I wanna eat so much electricity from there but later... Zzt zzt!
Aiden: FINALLY WERE HERE TO CREATE SOME MUD ONE STEP CLOSER TO CONQUERING THE WORLD! HAHAHA!
Jade: wow... This cave is quite beautiful i can't wait to explore it after the gym
Harmony: my first gym battle... I hope to make Blaise proud...
Glad to hear Emile saw the video of the pencil sharpener. I’ve been loving that guy’s videos every since then.
I constantly got lost in Chargestone cave as a child. I was so bad at directions.
I guess we’re in for a *shocking* episode 😆
I love the Tradition of making Joltik comically small is still alive and well in this video
Living Dex Day 30
With the power of saying "screw you" to time limits, I rescued Victini from being stuck inside Liberty Garden and Team Plasma, as well as helped Meloetta remember it's Relic Song! Now I'm trekking through the deserts of Route 4, hoping to find my way to Nimbasa City, where the grass is green and the lights are pretty.

I watched this video and genuinely forgot to post the comment on it. Thank the lord for spreadsheets!
Let us not forget Probopass is FLOATING. If this thing got levitate, it would help soooo much. It's a real shame because it has amazing stats and can really be fun to use.
It does get Magnet Rise, at least: it’s not super useful to run the move most of the time, but it’s a thematically appropriate option, at least
Considering how soon after gen 5 that gen 6 released, Deerling's original concept almost certainly seems to have been repurposed for the Skiddo line.
2:17 Idk if this was intentional rditing wise, but the pause in the speach timed with the cut in of the red health music was amazing!
I haven't watched since your original pikmin 2 days, good times. Crazy to see the channel at a million subs now, keep up the good work.
I don’t know if this has been said already, but there’s a trainer in the Nimbasa City Pokemon Center that gives you 10 Red Shards for free!
Fun fact: in Rom Hacks like Renegade Platinum, Blaze Black, and Volt White2 there are Evolution items to evolve Pokemon that evolve via trade.
Clay: What in tarnation is that gal doin? *cuts to Blaise riding the conveyer belt over and over again*
Emile is the king of puns! 👑
Having a bit of a nerve-wracking day thank you, Emile, for making such great content to wind down to
I mean, the message behind the Escape ropes from the pokestar studios fan could be much darker and negative
I just imagine a Ferroseed in a nest, rustling it with it's spikes all cute like
When you accidentally complete the puzzle that you didn’t mean to
The arrival of nosepass in chargestone cave made me remember when I finally found out a perfect name for the nosepass line, "Moairo" a combination of the moai heads in the Easter Island and mario because of the mustache.
Everytime chuggaa mentions persona in any way, i dream of a lets play
Would that be longer or shorter than Xenoblade 2?
So whatever was left of Deerling and Sawsbuck original concept was turned into Skiddo and Gogoat, and still no third form, no wonder it looks so unfinished. (also wild goats live in deserts, and rocky mountain areas) (both also get Horn Leech)
A new snail - well if it didn't end up becoming variant Sliggoo and Goodra; then maybe it could be some combination of Water, Fairy, Grass, Bug, Steel, Poison, Electric
I never knew that there was a unique animation if N's Pokémon were hacked to be Shiny!
I always love it when Chugga starts his videos with a single word question.
god i love the limited 3d they used for this game it’s so charming
^
This game is the f**king 3D of all time
@thefreelancequeen i think you have commented this is every single episode so far
@@Thiago_Rodrigues30 yes sir!
god i love the limited 3d they used for this game it's so charming
Huh didn't know about the Deerling 3rd evolution thing. Now that I think about it its likely the concept was reused to create Gogoat in XY!
10:46 I like to interpret it as they're actually haters saying they are fans and they're giving the player rope to h/
g themselves with as a sick joke 💀
Day 4 of telling Chugga to use Victini and Jirachi in a Team Plasma battle to taunt them
7:22 Well, know we know what Chuggaa would give to someone doing an Egglocke.
So could that planned Deerling evoloution be the predecessor to the Gogoat line?
Love the music in Clay’s gym.
16:13 Emile making a reference to Persona 5
Also Emile: referencing the wrong character but bc they are twins it's easy to make that mistake even if they have different haircuts
I was waiting for the moment when chugga would use the pun n-counter
Uh…Accelgor is a ghost type…I think that implies Shelmet DOES get eaten, and Karablast takes the now empty shell.
