I had that happen to me a few years back in Indiana. It was pitch black on the interstate, and there was another car behind me (in addition to the one I was trying to pass from the right). The car I tried to pass decided to try to race me, so I slowed down and the car behind me swerved into the left lane and turned on the blue lights and pulled the other car over! I had never been so thankful for a slow driver being petty and stupid 🤣🤣
well it wasn't just a pass, it was a dangerously close pass on the right. i'm sure the lack of space with that maneuver had something to do with his anger
Ok the problem is that there's people who think the left lane is a "fast" lane. Its NOT a "fast" lane It's a **PASS** lane only. It doesn't matter what the speed is, below, at, or above the speed limit. For the driver recording the video, MOVE OVER when your not passing anyone.
To those who drive too slowly in the left lane, just realize about 1 in 30 people is somewhere on the psychopath/sociopath spectrum. It won't take long moseying in the left lane for you to run into that 1 in 30 driver, and the two of you may then end up making the road a deadly place for the rest of us.
@JoeBlow-Knoxbaddrivers I attach aggressive, homicidal driving to sociopaths. When a person camps out in the left lane at or near the speed limit, with cars stacking up behind, it brings out the worst in rage monsters and conscienceless lunatics. The rest of us have to dodge the debris field, and innocent people often get caught in the crossfire.
Even people who want to go really fast use the passing lane incorrectly. You're supposed to enter the passing lane, pass the slower car, return to regular driving lane. Doesn't matter if you're going 50, 70, or 90 mph. If_you're_not_actively_passing_another_car you should NOT be in the passing lane.
@@BillFrigginNye A person is under no obligation to exceed the speed limit. What you're saying, it seems, is that drivers won't use the passing lane correctly UNLESS other drivers break the law. Do I understand correctly?

@@BillFrigginNye And a week's pay says any highway patrolman in your state will tell you that driving AT the speed limit in one of the driving lanes isn't considered "slower traffic". But other drivers obeying the speed limit in the driving lanes isn't a good legal defense if you were to get cited. Amazing how quickly they rediscover the accelerator after they feel slighted by being passed on the right.

Good move for the cam car to wait to get alongside those trucks till it was clear to pass. I do that too.
