These drive thrus at banks have these tubey tunnel things that suck up a container that you put your license and bank slips into and it travels into the bank. Then they do w.e. transaction you want and send the little plastic container back thru the tubes with your money or receipt or w.e. in it and you're good to go! It actually sounds kinda crazy having to describe it to someone who's never seen one before, tho lol. Sounds like futuristic and all but I remember them as a kid, too. The bank tellers would always put suckers in them for kids and dog bones in them for dogs lol. You should search for a video of it!

@@donaldjohnson257, have you ever driven a cab-over-engine truck-tractor? I have and know how hard it is to see at times other vehicles around you especially when they intentionally get in a blind spot.
As a 33 year veteran truck driver who has driven nearly every kind of truck on the road, it amazes me as to how many truck drivers can't drive trucks or anything else for that matter. The one thing that never ceases to amaze me is how many times we see on these videos where the driver that caused the whole thing decides that it's no big deal and splits. Unbelievable.
I drive eighteen wheelers and I was a CDL instructor and I watch these videos and it always makes me wonder if some of these drivers get their license out of a box of Cracker Jacks!

Of course plenty of us would have panicked in that situation but if you don't speed thru a tunnel like that specially when you can't see past the exit you wont be in a situation like that
@Warsong Gulch He also oversteered into it. The road was wide enough and the car had decent amount of grip to come out of it with moderate braking and just enough steering input to avoid the cliffs, but he panicked and made it much worse.
I saw the same clip in a different video on a different channel and the guy driving explained that it was his fault because he was going through the tunnels really fast because he likes the sound his engine makes inside the tunnels but forgot about the sharp curve on the other side. The ONLY thing that saved him was the culvert he landed on. He admitted he was being stupid. He's lucky he got to live to tell the tale.
the last clip: the driver survived. he admitted that he wasn’t familiar with the road and should’ve been paying more attention. he landed right side up after a drainage pipe stopped his fall. i’m not sure how far the fall was or what injuries he sustained (if any) but nobody else was involved & no charges were filed. he was on the angeles crest highway in socal
Thank you so much. My other concern was the a clip or before it where the woman grabbed the wheel. My guess is the driver had a heart attack or seizure. Passenger didn't understand what happened but realized they needed to do too save themselves, but I'm not sure they did after hitting the pole
@@Malachishouse It wasn't a woman, it was a guy with long hair. No heart attack nor seizure. They were being towed by another car and the atomatic wheel-lock kicked in when they turned the corner because they had removed the ignition key or they had it in the off position.
Seems to do with the resonance frequency of the structure and the wind speed. I’ve seen one intersection where they probably had that problem, as each traffic light post has an airfoil and a resonance damper mounted on it.

6:38 - when I was a kid my dad didn't see a road hump one night on an unfamaliar road and I remember being thrown about in my seat pretty hard. Fortunately my dad was extremely vigilant about seatbelts. Scared the crap out of me. This particular accident must have been BRUTAL.

That first clip is illustrative of people not maintaining full control of their vehicle, and full awareness of what’s going on around them. That rider had heaps of time to see the problem coming, and to be slowing down hard and avoiding the roll of foam.

It is one thing to realize through local drivers in my town who speed, tailgate and go through red lights and stop signs that driving is no longer fun. These videos show that the roads are more unsafe than I could have ever have imagined.
One problem, imho, is that here in the US, anyone can get a license. It’s easy. Then it’s very hard to lose it. People can drive like idiots because there is really no penalty except possibly a ticket and that is IF you get caught. Which seems unlikely most of the time.

And the worst thing is I'm a stickler for safety gear. But I just took that one chance and boy did it bite me. And yes, you don't miss skin until it's missing and you realise the air itself stings. lol life lesson learnt.

It is one thing to realize through local drivers in my town who speed, tailgate and go through red lights and stop signs that driving is no longer fun. These videos show that the roads are more unsafe than I could have ever have imagined.
One problem, imho, is that here in the US, anyone can get a license. It’s easy. Then it’s very hard to lose it. People can drive like idiots because there is really no penalty except possibly a ticket and that is IF you get caught. Which seems unlikely most of the time.

And the worst thing is I'm a stickler for safety gear. But I just took that one chance and boy did it bite me. @@Bayan1905 The US the country I have the most experience with and that's the biggest issue we have. With what limited experience I have with other countries (especially poor ones) distraction isn't the issue, it's crappy equipment and a general acceptance of very dangerous conduct.
