    Great vid, appreciate how accurate this would be if I installed it myself. As my dad always told me
    “Estimated install time: 1 hour
    Actual install time: 3 hours, 2 dropped bolts, and 1 Home Depot trip later and you’re good to go” lol you should have seen the struggle I had installing my CAI and shift bracket bushings

    • @ianmacdonald9575
      @ianmacdonald9575 4 роки тому

      Oh God those shift bracket bushings. I dropped the back left one down in my engine bay and spent like 30 minutes looking for it. Almost out the stock ones back on and just ordered a new set. I've got fat fingers and getting that shit on was frustrating at that angle

    What rpm should you hear it go off at? I installed mine about a year ago but it seemed to do it around 2k rpm now it only seems to hiss after I rev or shift to 3-35k rpm

    • @Brendenowits
      @Brendenowits  4 роки тому

      Its not rpm specific its based on boost. It should open whenever you build boost and let off the throttle. The whole point of it is to bleed off built up boost pressure when your throttle plate closes, that way it doesnt go back through the turbo and cause that stututu sound or turbo flutter as its called

I am currently on my second gearbox in my 2013 focus st first gearbox lost 5th gear just driving one day and recently I had second gear synchro go, this is somewhat common to these boxes if your drive them like you stole it. Otherwise drive it like a grandma and they will last a lifetime I'll say.
