It's amazing how much the One's Who Live fucked the franchise so bad that even hardcore fans that have stuck with the franchise through everything are starting to give up, damn, what could have been.
Ok, here’s how AMC can actually get people to care about TWD again: -put the current universe to bed -wait about 5 years (maybe 10, to be sure) -hard reboot -new tv show should be faithful to the comics. Original spin offs are fine if they have a good story to tell, but the main show should be faithful -focus on growing a new audience, rather than trying to win back the old guard -if this works, a spin off series adapting the novels would be fun, especially once they get to Fall of the Governor

Also their spinoff was only one that was supposed to exist and Rick was supposed to get movie triology and original show was still supposed to run. Norman said in one interview that before spinoff was announced in 2020, original concept was Carol and Daryl on adventure and later to come back while main show was still going with Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as leads. But Gimple didn't make movie studios interested in Rick's story and CRM story that was allegedly supposed to have connection with France if you watched World Beyond but was given to Daryl and Carol, and Frank Darabont won in lawsuit against AMC and after news about it came out, AMC decided to end show with season 11. So 2 more spinoffs were created, The Ones Who Live which was turned into love story and Dead City that focuses years after end of original TWD

I agree with you, Jerry. Good points. I believe the writers want to focus on the mysterious "Designation two" mentioned in the main series and wanted to bring them as the major villains in the future. If not, "Designation two", possibly the writers want to involve Rick with new villains like the New Babylon Federation and the Burazi. Hence, to make that happen, they threw the CRM under the bus. Now that Negan is the newleader of the Burazi, the writers want to bring Rick back again as the leader of Alexandria and fight Negan. I could be wrong, just my opinion.

Twd NEEDS a documentary covering all of the bts BS, From Daramont starting it to his illegal firing to cover up the suits greed all the way to bts of these cash crap spinoff. I'd LOVE Chandle to be honest and rip apart Gimple from lying and screwing him over.
I started to watch the walking dead this year, I agree the show isn’t the same without Rick and Carl being in it! I’m on season 10 and I don’t think I can watch anymore of it!
I'm currently on season 10 as well and I noticed they put Daryl and Carol in the frontlines of the show. They know we miss the old cast, even though some later characters are also great. It was even hinted at in the script: Carol tells Daryl in episode 5: "Are we enough or not?" My response to the writers would be "Shut up! Own up to your mistakes. They're great but not enough."
I understand how you feel. When i watched Daryl Dixon i really enjoyed the season. But it was different. I couldnt at all get into Dead city though. But when I watched The Ones Who Live I was really disappointed. I was surprised by how disappointed I am in it. I wanted to see Rick back but it felt far to easy. How can two people defeat an entire army without help. Its impossible. Now though after watching the series im not as excited about the next season of Daryl Dixon. I feel like I know where its going to go and I'm not excited anymore. Im a huge fan of Norman's but im afraid im going to be disappointed. I feel like this is no longer the show or universe that i loved a long time ago. Im also so tired of the hate on social media. Whatever happened to you have a right to your opinion. I'm now even afraid to give my opinion because of all that hate. I wish people could be respectful but its seems thats not possible anymore.
Think about it for a moment, CSI shows had less cross overs AND there not even in a apocalypse, these "crossovers" are just gimmicks to get the idiots to watch in air night.
I agree. I think theres too much damage done to the series at this point to keep going with any common sense. Everything needs to come to an end at some point. The show is quite literally a zombie of its former self by now just walking on constantly. Also as an aside, hilariously you sound like Scotty Kilmer the car guy.
To be fair I’ve gotten pretty tired of the walking dead as well, I think we have to accept that the glory days are over we’re not going to go back to that pure excellent story telling and characters that we had before, even if there are good shows it will still never be how it was and I’m not just saying that due to nostalgia I’m just talking about the masterpiece the show was, but the franchise has let us down, we have had to sit through 8 seasons of fear, 2 seasons of world beyond, 1 season of tales, 5 bad seasons of the main show and now all these spin-offs with us getting NOTHING in return, we’ve gotten no reunions aside Rick and his kids and michonne ,the crm amounted to nothing which meant all the build up we have been watching was for nothing ,there is no greater story gimple wants to tell it’s just stuff happening until all the actors leave due to being fed up and or getting too old which means there probably going to have to be written off in a rushed non dignified way and there just is nothing in sight that gives me hope that we will get a payoff for all that we have watched, all we can do is remember how great the show was.
Perfectly put, the hype is kind of gone now, built up so much with the CRM and now its just over? Really wanted them to be the endgame. Still enjoying the other spin offs but just feel there's less at stake. Great channel, criminally underrated, keep up the good work 👍🏻😎
@@ZavierMay-kc7jb Yeah it would be past a point of no return if it did that. Can’t see it happening, since Maggie and Negan occasionally try to kill each other and argue all the time.

The lack of creativity cracks started showing as soon as they killed off carl,
They should have ended twd when they won the war against the saviours.
I kind of agree man, i never watched anything past ricks departure in season 9 personally.
I completely agree should have ended in season 6 or 8 but they didn't make some great stuff but i dont care anymore i understand fully
Think about it for a moment, CSI shows had less cross overs AND there not even in a apocalypse, these "crossovers" are just gimmicks to get the idiots to watch in air night.
I watched every episode air from 101 to 1008, I couldn't take Amcs bs anymore.
The show is not aging well
Animated Comic Accurate Reboot 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
i have the same opinion
Perfectly put, the hype is kind of gone now, built up so much with the CRM and now its just over? Really wanted them to be the endgame. Still enjoying the other spin offs but just feel there's less at stake. Great channel, criminally underrated, keep up the good work 👍🏻😎
This series was finished back in 2016
mike ehrmantraut, carl grimes and glenn rhee shouldn't have died
more like the walking woke these days
First ❤
Yeah bro, i dont care about it either. Apparently maggie and negan are gonna get together and the writing is just stupid
@@ZavierMay-kc7jb Nah that’s not happening
@@JohnMarston-rt5kr hopefully not or the franchise will be done
Would be Spicy :P
@@ZavierMay-kc7jb Yeah it would be past a point of no return if it did that. Can’t see it happening, since Maggie and Negan occasionally try to kill each other and argue all the time.
the walking dead is the best so i'm unsubscribing respectfully
Congratulations!
My guy.....you got Very low standards
@@damndude999 that was my thought too. Was very surprised by this comment lmfao
