Yes and I integrate them in my videos when needed, depending on the project. Thanks for a great video and great brush up, which is always good :))

Wow, awesome tips. I did not know any of these, looking forward to working with you Sean. I have a construction consulting business for 20 years, but have always dreamed of making useful YT videos to expand my business and educate others. Well done 💯

great tips! I just wanted to add a new “angle” for the first one.
Instead of having a person on the shot, think of SUBJECTS. If you’re into landscape shots maybe your subject can be a couple of flowers or probably a big mountain on the back… in that case try and apply the same technique and have multiple shots and variations or framing for that subject. Let that “something” be your “someone“

Another great video! Take aways for me: Multiple takes of the same action and cutting in the action. Also want to try something similar on B roll. Always trying to improve me by roll as its an area I still struggle with. Thanks again for sharing great ideas for improved film making!

I always learn something from watching and listening to your videos. I especially like the angle concept. Will definitely practice this and apply it to my new creations.
    Thanks!

Solid tips! Some I learned in film school, but dividing the frame into 3s I'd never heard verbalized in this was. And don't see slow shutter used too often. Narratively I tend to see it used in flashbacks (Last Samurai used it well in this) and in some dramatic ways, even mixed with slow motion (Lord of the Rings, especially Fellowship of the Ring) used the technique quite often. Always enjoy your videos and perspective.

“Hi, I’m really interested in improving my content and making it more professional, but I have some doubts. I’m almost 50 years old and have about 20 years of experience as a sound engineer. I’m originally from Poland but currently living in Norway. I’m unsure whether I should create content in Polish or English (I make some language mistakes in English).
I currently make content about outdoor topics, which I enjoy, but I have more expertise in sound. I’m considering whether I should change my niche to focus on sound in film instead. I have a lot of questions and uncertainties about this. Do you have any advice or suggestions on what I should do? Thanks in advance! Wojtek

My channel is about cat rescue. It’s kind of hard to go out to find “subjects simply by the nature of their being!
But thank you for the tips! You did give me some ideas. Now if I could just find those elusive cats…

I like the slow shutter speed look you had there! If you set the shutter speed at 1/15 second what frame rate would you record at and do you convert it to 24fps timeline for playback?

Ok, so I give you good advice: If you have nothing to say, don't make a video about it. If you have something to say - just say it. Trust me, it gets boring and we will go away after couple of minutes. Anything longer than 5 minutes means - you have nothing to say. Thank you
