Ive worked with SikaFlex daily for the past 15 years. It flows its best when the adhesive is warm. 80 degree temp for the glue makes it flow well. Anything less it starts getting really stiff to squeeze from a caulk gun. Best of luck.

nice to see it done! Great video. I am doing this on my 2014 Prime time crusader fifth wheel. I caught the left rear corner on a tree while backing in to a site. It seems like murphy's law with me and camping. If it can happen it will. Well anyway great video and I appreciate all your effort.

Hi!Loved this video it was super easy to digest.The trim on my rv is only bad at the bottom ,the rest it like new.Should I still replace the entire thing or can I just do the bottom portion ?
I spent a lot and went with the gorila glue brand silicone
May i make a suggestion, run a tape with about 1/3 in from the trim, as the caulk will discolor after a couple years and it will be a pain in the butt to clean it after a couple years

Maybe use painter's tape to hold the trim pieces in place while you screw them down.
What if the existing molding pieces aren’t salvageable? Where can you find replacements?

What if your trim pieces need replacing?
Great videos thanks! What can you do if a piece of the metal trim is missing? Is it universal for caravans or specific to the model? I don't think finding the original triim for my 1970 caravan is possible unfortunately.
