Do what you think is best for your cows. Don't listen to what people say. You do you, do it your way. I would like to visit you and Yanko one day.

Chris, you really need to build a box around that hydraulic box and valves.

Chris, you need to cover the new hydraulic unit to protect it from all the manure!!! 👍
    Like the wrenching.

Hi from oz chrìs. Krone make the best fodder making equipment at the moment. Eliminate soggy first bales by cutting the twine before its ejected out the chamber and tie them to the baler. The biscuits drop of the back to be rebaled later. Learnt the on my second job with big sqares and haven't had one since(about 20 years ago)

Doing bucket loader shuttle, use 1st range and 4 th gear ,that way faster reverse speed ,less stress on clutch, less gear clash from coming out of 2 nd range ,less wear and tear on range shifter linkage trying to go up and over between 2 and range and reverse.4 th gear gives you simple back and forth motion on 1 shift lever only, your faster reverse will make up for slower fwd speed.when I used to pack silage in a bunk I used 3 Rd gear set hand throttle at about 950 to 1000 RPM base speed and used foot throttle for increased RPM s to change direction constantly.trust me your clutch will thank you along with your synchronizers in transmission will thank you to.

I’ve slept through many alarms myself burning the candles at both ends, then I started setting two, three and even four alarms 15mins apart so I’m never too late again, I always say that if you slept through the alarms your body must have needed the sleep and if I know I’ll sleep through the alarm I’ll just stay awake which isn’t good but I’m not late

For all the rocket scientists on this channel it's all about cash flow! By bins wait for better price, fix stuff all winter. Not having enough money at all times makes you make decisions you probably wouldn't do. I have friends in the same boat up here in Canada. You need a second job to get you past the first 5 years and maybe beyond. Then your time is short and you short cut things you shouldn't. It is a decision you have to make. It is pretty easy to put people down, what does that help other than make you feel better about your life. His farm, his choices end of story. If you can't handle it move on, or put your stuff on socila media so we can tell you how dumb you are, without knowing anything about your situation. I hope you all feel superior.

Great content and I enjoy your videos but, with that being said and I’m sure you’re aware of, you have a fellow content creator who really has a problem with the way you farm. He’s one that needs everything perfect. If he used equipment such as yours he would be curled up in the fetal position in a corner with his wife checking his temperature with an anal thermometer.

    • @CurtMcElvain

Well, in my area (south central Michigan) I can’t find any way to pencil any profit from crop farming if I have to purchase the land to farm on- even if I own the equipment to do it. I say congrats to Chris for finding other sources of revenue in order to make his dream come true
