I think this was a well known fact the moment he came out. I saw it for myself and I think other people were talking about it. Now, another layer of the B2 and D/B2 mixup is that B2 was -2 before and now it's +2 so it's his turn if you block the non charged version.
I knew I wasn't going crazy... As soon as he released I noticed the change since I rely a lot on sound cues, thanks for confirmig it Nova ! Also I don't know if I like it or not, like, yeah it is harder to react to it but it's kind of character accurate for the old man to be a sneaky bastard haha
My guess is that they probably changed it so he will sell more. And depending on his win/loss ratio they may revert it, but definitely not before the end of season 1.
Depending on what you consider "stealth" buff you can add him becoming dlc instead of base roster, i didnt feel like he was for me so i didnt buy, cant practice reacting to db2 at all if i dont fork up the cash first... Not to mention the adding of the funny 1 time only install after round 2 making him more unga than drags or alisas
I saw mixed reactions on his down back 2 so honestly I don't know if it's good or not... Also, not to mention that his perfect frame release moves heal the old man, mf can't die!
@@RealKatTea It's a good video. He was recapping oldschool Tekken advanced techniques. The worst offender on his vid was T3 Jin df1 Oni Cancel, so he was pretty much shooting strays at *Devil Jin,* not Jin. LMAO
Let me be your heihachi downplayer. 💖 You can side step heihachi's db2 and b2 in any direction you like even when he is at +4. His db2 is also launch punishable by every character of the game. Now compare with Jin's d2 which is hard to side step and it's only -14 therefore can't be launch by every character.
I wish they changed him a little more to represent Goju-ryu for real rather than that being a rumor. I dream about them makinga new character like that as they did with Tatsuya Naka from Shotokan.

He needed to be buffed he was too easy to beat in Tekken 7 I was a Hei main then and now Jin is easier his down 2 is really obnoxious even at high ranks and Heihachi still takes alot of execution he got buffed sure but he’s not easier than Kazuya or Jin
Heihachi is undoubtedly easier than Kazuya due to his cancer flowcharts, unbreakable unreactable throws from stance and broken punishment. His execution demands are laughable compared to Kazuya for how much damage he does. With a b4 you are simply asked for a dash WGF and a super lenient blue spark rashomon for the reward of PEWGF damage. You get 95 damage from a TWO ELECTRIC COMBO *without* Warrior Instinct, no heat dash, no omen and no golden rashomon. Meanwhile Kaz's triple electric into df1 pickup with 3 1, b 2 2 1+2 for the ender is five times as hard and does 79. ws2 peaks at 80 damage, ff3 at 76. You still get to keep your 41 damage 12f block punishment (launch with install). Degenerate dickjab into fc sweep or ws4 mixup. Stance bullshittery. +8 on hit hellsweep and absolute coverage to your weak side with b4.
Heihachi isn't that execution demanding anymore, unless you want absolute Max damage with 4 electrics and omen ender. F3 zen changed his combo game completely
Very interesting concept, but it doesn't change the fact that Nina is a MlLF
