This channel has great information and advice for hair loss and regrowth but I have to call out your dermaroller, it uses bladed wheels instead of individual needles and the needle count is too high and the depth ideally for regrowth should be 1.5 mm. If anyone is interested in dermarolling please watch some videos on fake vs real dermaroller as unfortunately this one seems to be a fake.

So I got my free dermaroller a little over a month ago, and been using it with Finasteride, minoxidil, and the scalp massages for just the past month and my gains have been fucking amazing. I'm 30 and my hair loss wasn't that advanced I'd say pretty moderate, I started Finasteride and minoxidil like 2 years ago which did stop my hair loss but I wasn't really regrowing much so you could still tell I had male pattern baldness. Adding the dermarolling once a week plus scalp massages twice daily helped DRAMATICALLY in one month for me, it's like the hair that's growing back isn't the thin baby hairs it's like thicker real hair, I feel like this has stopped my hair miniaturization in it's tracks. I can't wait to see how it'll be in like 6 months. No bullshit over here I really think if you do all 4 methods most ppl will see some kinda improvement.

Your treating it not curing it. So if you stop it will fall out lol.

They're both pretty much the same. Causes and treatments i mean. They only study on men because they have much higher rates of pattern hair loss

hello. Im using minoxidil 5% spray from the October,so i just finished the third bottle. I use it daily, just once, random time o clock, and between those 6-7 month's,like 3-4 times,i was traveling so i didn't used but just for some days, like 2-3.Well anyway,i just don't see a good ,big improvement.theres a small improvement, like its nothing special, just the less of a good result i guess. im not totally sure if i must continue taking it or try something else. Now i start derma roller too with 0,5 mm needless, once a month and gonna see how it rolls...btw my hair problem its not too big exists ,front of the head

    What if Microneedling+Oil Combination?

  • @accensus

I have seen that microneedling can be used to drive several treatments deeper into the skin. Is there anything I can use in conjunction with the dermaroller to increase results?

Try scalp massaging twice a day along with dermarolling and using minoxidil right after you dermaroll. Works wonders for, I also take Finasteride too but idk if you wanna try that.

@virat kohli I'm not sure because I still use minoxidil. I use Minoxidil, Finasteride, scalp massages and weekly dermarolling

Ok, can someone enlighten me? So we all try to restore or maintain our hair, isn't it just lame to cut hair so short to be able to dermaroll? I had pretty long hair which i finally cut but on top of the head it's still 2 inches long. Can i dermaroll? I don't wanna cut it more because i don't see any point putting all that effort and have a way too much short hair. It would be easier to go bald for life and do nothing. Also, just started minoxidil as well

As far as I know, dermatoll can damage hair so probably better using dermapen, shorten hair or just be careful with it..

    Question:
Why upon further research on the internet do many websites claim to NOT dermaroll with 1.0+ more than once every 2-3 and sometimes even monthly? There is much confusion as when the proper guidelines are and I am trying to maximize results and be safe at the same time. Should I just do 2.5 weeks since its inbetween or what do you think?

    • @Hairguard

Some researchers suggest that a maintenance even once every 2 months is enough.

so basically if you're trying to grow your hair longer then you shouldn't use a dermaroller? that sucks.

Unsure why you keep addressing men throughout the video and when mentioning women you only reference alopecia areata as if women don't also suffer from pattern hair loss/androgenic alopecia. Most women are suffering from female PATTERN loss.

    • @Hairguard

Women are unlikely to use a dermaroller because they have long hair. It's not practical.
