Makazole son, just to let you know that you have so many families out there who love you and pray for sons and daughters in your position. Always shine your humbleness is amazing. Love you son.
Do you think he reads comments on youtube? I'll never understand why people try to communicate with famous people via youtube comments, as if they go around the internet reading comments about themselves.. It's weird.
Andrew won't see this propably, but mapimpi lost his whole family and showed massive hart to keep going forward. Rassie mentioned in a documentary that when the players put pictures of their families on their back( the number of each player on their back were made out of small portraits of their family members during the wc) mapimpi only had photos of himself cause his whole family died 😭
That pass from Am was completely altruistic one. From that position on a RWC final, you have to admire the guy. But back to the subject of the video, Mapimpi is a damn fast winger and he makes the best from each inch that is given to him, apart that he is improving his game each season. Great choice of a player
Some wingers are like racy little Ferraris screaming down the pitch, others are like suped-up tanks smashing their way to the line but Maka runs like a Rolls Royce gliding effortlessly across the ground.
@@pondbus1ness yh, watson would be the 1st name, but ppl might be rethinking bcuz of sa's phisicallity & opt for a tuilagi or a bundee aki on the flanks.. For me i'd fancy more a chris farrell and less a george north

Probably get taken down by YOutube if it didnt have music, or wasn't spoiled in some other way. Im not defending it, as uploaders could post unspoiled versions of their videos on alternative platforms which would slowly lessen UA-cam's strangehold on the market over time. Just saying one that's of the main reasons there are so many shit videos like this.
There is a reason why he is called the finisher...all he has to do is catch and score the try nothing special...Aphiwe Dyantyi and Sbu Nkosi are way better and deserving players
The man is incredibly efficient at scoring tries. 16 Tries in 15 international games. He makes it always look so easy and almost seems to be clumsy, but he crushes it somehow. He probably deserves more respect than he generally receives. I mean, imagine having a player who will generally score you a try a match. Who cares for flash when you have clear results.
@@chris5240 Yup. Feel sorry for Sbu not making the side but in the greater scheme of things, Cheslin and Makazole are both better. Both are included not only for their general speed and skill, but also because of how exceptionally well they both read the game. It is embarrassing how many good wingers we have in SA at the moment but those two are the cream of the crop.
Are you for real? He set up his own try in a world cup final with a grubber kick! Do you know how hard that is to pull off whilst trying to pick up momentum? He's not as flashy as Kolbe or Nkosi but his kicking game is underrated and he's a deadly finisher. His record speaks for itself. Many players underestimate how powerful he is when he's running at full pace. Just check how it took 2 Lions players to bring him down. He's exactly the type of left wing the Boks need. Solid AF. Flashy wings like Kolbe distract the opposition and they forget to find ways to counter Mapimpi.

I watched that video a few days ago. The guy has a real rags to riches story. Rassie was really emotional telling the story.

This pass IS rugby
The pass from Am was the beauty of the try and after all that Mapimpi ignores the high 5. Greedy pig 🐷
Voetsek. He said that he was in the zone and was confused
@@NK2651 No need to call him a pig...
What a legend. Real pace and power
So underrated
Its a pity COVID prevented us from seeing more Mapimpi and Am action in super rugby this year.
He got the gas and the muscle.....may you have a long safe career.come on de bokke
Love seeing al the failed ankle taps😂
Mapimpi is my hero.
I also appreciate the BFMV 😉

The way the commentators gets excited when its MAPIMPI
"DONT TELL ME DONT TELL ME MAPIMPI"!!!
He just brings so much energy to the game🥵 a big rolmodel to alot of young rugby players out there
Il a 29 ans mais comme si sa carrière venais de commencé, bravoo Map longue et belle carrière
A hero to many!!!!!!🙏
springbok wing options are filthy
Amazing 😉 guy brilliant athlete
He’ll definitely retain boks no11 shirt
but who'll be Lions no14 facing him.. Watson, Graham, Conway? or maybe James Lowe
infra white I reckon Anthony Watson

Pimps has played for the Barbarians?? What a well deserved accomplishment
What a finisher 🔥🔥🔥🔥🥶

Respect
I feel ashamed of myself for only just learning about mapimpipi's story...
No fancy footwork or showing off...he just runs
You are clearly a novice😢, Mapimpi has done steps from Southern Kings 2 Sharks 2 Springboks.
He's not a master i dribbling but his pace is sky rocketing
Even if em takin them em not using your money ,fair enough em not in your territory so just mind your own business dectective
Should do one on billy Holland 🙌
Reaping bullets for my Valentine
Can you add a song to a tribute the song is called dropgun somebody
He's fuckin fast !
Funny enough i went to go watch the game (clip 3)

It's worth a shot, you won't lose anything by trying. Unfortunately they just tend to ignore anything that doesn't make them money directly.
@@AndrewDavidForde I will sign your petition andrew
Not as fast as habana or kolbe but exceptionally world class
Faster than Kolbe. It's been proven. Not that it matters, they are both good enough to play for the World Champions XD
Lot of fans under estimate his pace, because doesn't do any stepping or anything. That nigga is very speedy. I've watched him even before superrugby
Most definitely faster than Kolbe
Too fast😅
