Not only does this still work on PC (only with a controller), but you can bypass the antique appraisal patch (for non-scrap items), by dropping them on the ground (and picking back up) after buying them back. There also seems to be an issue with buying back multiple quantities of a single item. If you only buy back some of them at a time, the remaining quantity disappears. So if there’s a stack of 4, you select buy and it defaults to half of that (2) and you confirm... the other half (2) is removed from his stock. So spamming the buy button fast will deplete the items. It seems some items don’t have this issue. I’ve also only tested junk items.

I know what your talking about you can actually have a ton of them, however they are pretty useless as they cant ever be leveled and all the stats are useless, they are another gun, but basically using lvl 1 guns
If your on pc you need a controller. Basically you use the book. But it still says you can use again or drop. Drop it. Then pick it back up. You've gone up 1 lvl and you can reuse 🖖

What I was gunna do... Was pick up a hardcopy of Wasteland 3, Install it unpatched and use all of these exploits I would like to be able to do some meta gaming... I don't want to pick it up on PC either. That would be easy with save editors I beat it on jerk with all 3 of the affixes ( teamkill, Death and 2extra skill req. ) And it wasn't that hard... Obviously I didn't get all the lore. I still feel like, From all the videos I've seen... There's better " class " or combos of items and skills rather, That they haven't thought up or used yet

I mean it's patched but if you buy a disc copy and don't install the patch, it'll still be possible to do this.
From all my experience playing rpgs I saved all my skill books because I knew there was a duplicate glitch somewhere out there lol

On Xbox, I read the skill book and it disappeared, I can't drop the book. I think it is fixed today.

as of patch 1.1.2, it is fixed... So, use cheat engine instead. Pretty easy game to hack
