Hairloss is a nasty thing. I am now 22 and I lost enough hair at the age of 20, that cutting the rest short was the best choice for me. So, since it is quiet expensive to keep all your hair over a long time, I decided to accept my baldness and move on. It takes about a year to finally accept it. Actually, I am glad now, that I decided against treating it when I first noticed, because looks are way less important for a man than for a woman. You have far more important quallities you can work on than your hair. If you are gifted with full hair, good for you. If not, like myself, not the end of the world. Maybe only treat it if it doesn't leave a deep whole in your pocket.

Women are more vulnerable to hair loss due to stress and hormonal imbalance, like pregnancies. The cost of finasteride 1mg (used in men only) is now pretty low. it is usually the cost of the consultation from a pharmacy that increases the cost (the pharmacy have to pay a fee to be able to provide the service without a prescription). Stopping will not only revert you back to where you were but you will also lose any hair that you may have gained. The drug does work quite often but it is the expectation of the patient that usually exceeds the results. Success is considered 1) gaining hair, 2) somewhat maintaining the current number of hairs or 3) losing less hair than before. Great video as always Abraham.

I thought it may be due to the high levels circulating in the blood as it isn’t metabolised by the liver but directly the skin as it’s protein bound to albumin I have also heard from my pharmacology lecturer it can also cause toxins to build up due to the reduced bile flow ?

Several years ago I had a small yet growing loss of hair on the center of my crown. Didn't bug me too much. But I started taking Biotin. 10,000 mcg per day. Firstly, high doses of Biotin can interfere with certain types of blood tests so if you take a lot of it, tell your doctor. Slowly but steadily the hair began to regrow. It takes a long time. But the bald spot is gone. The regrown hair is thinner but I still keep taking Biotin. Some hair loss remedies work if you are patient and do not give up if it is something important. At 65 years old I have a great head of hair and no receding hairline. My finger and toe nails grow thinker and faster now also.

@@AbrahamThePharmacist Thank you for getting back to me. I was only really asking because I made that comment so long ago. I think I've gotten a bit better because I limit myself on the games that cause the motion sickness. So making a video isn't really necessary.

You should absolutely do a video. As you said, finasteride can be very effective, but the key is early intervention.

Several years ago I had a small yet growing loss of hair on the center of my crown. Didn't bug me too much. But I started taking Biotin. 10,000 mcg per day. Firstly, high doses of Biotin can interfere with certain types of blood tests so if you take a lot of it, tell your doctor. Slowly but steadily the hair began to regrow. It takes a long time. But the bald spot is gone. The regrown hair is thinner but I still keep taking Biotin. Some hair loss remedies work if you are patient and do not give up if it is something important. At 65 years old I have a great head of hair and no receding hairline. My finger and toe nails grow thinker and faster now also.

@@jaymeeleighjx1x Happy that everything is fine now ....My parents are doctors even my brother is a doctor ..i asked my dad about this ..he said this also happened to him in childhood..its just because the bellybutton becomes too dry , he asked me to use coconut oil which was very affective ..It made my pain go away ..but this happens once a month ...My question to abraham is that what is the permanent cure to this problem
