thank you so much I am at the end of my LLM with the University of Bedfordshire and I was so confused about my topic because it was too broad but this video inspired me. Congratulations on both your LLB and Oxford.
I’ve started like 1/3 of my thesis and found this. Oh you’re so organized! This would be like the ideal way to process my thesis if I know this from the beginning. But it would be a bit scary to just read and take note and plan in the first several months and leave the writing until the last period. since the scale is like 5 times of dissertation. Or maybe it could work? 🤔
I think since she technically planned even the paragrphas and what goes into each one and what each one is about, the only thing she had to do during the writing phase is connecting the points and notes she made in a coherent way.
Hey Eloise! Super helpful video! As I am starting my dissertation at the moment. Might sound like a ridiculous question, but what is the programme that you have used to make you reading list and your plan? Thank you so much :)
Hi Eloise, thank you so much for this! I’m currently writing my dissertation on vicarious liability and how the inclusion of motive would lead back to the artificial salmond test for intentional wrongdoing. Would love to connect with you to gain more insight!!
My research question incorporates the doctrinal methodology. Is it okay if the first two sections are case law based and the third section is evaluating the law/statute but not using case law? or should i merge my third section into my first and second section?
Congrats 🥳🥳🥳Do you think its necessary to use revision books on the LLB to gain a first or should the core books be enough. What are your go to academic reference websites that you use to back up your points to showcase your first class abilities. Really would love your advice I'm going into my first year of my 2 year LLB degree
I never used revision books as I found them a little basic. Used mainly used LawTrove, Westlaw, Google Scholar, and my university’s library database. Good luck with your LLB!
Well done. You are very organised, smart, and put in the work, so you deserved the outstanding score. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Hi Elouise,
I’m wondering if you can explain what the limitations section of your dissertation discussed, was it limitations on project/ research ?
Did you not have to do a literature review?
Thanks for this vid!
Thank you very much!

Hey Eloise this is really helpful. quick question though codes? that start with 'Y' at the top left corner of each page what are those?

What tools did you use to save your research and write your notes up. Pleaes can you share your process in a practical way? thanks
I only used GoogleDocs- one file to write my notes in and another to organise them into a plan.

you're so beautiful ❤
I have no clue how anyone even thinks of a question or knows what to write. Feel so useless.
Diss feels so useless just describing what other people have already said. So useless.
