He explained that at age 47 he stopped thinking of himself as "a dancer" first and now feels he has crossed over to be an "an actor"...This humble man does not get enough credit! He has an Instagram that he operates himself, and he actually replies to you, nothing like your average modern-day actors with their heads in the clouds. Such a kind soul ❤

When she gets beat up in the town and then goes back to his tent all fucked up and he tells her about how at one time he could've and would've taken 50 warriors into that town and killed every single one of those men there...I cried. Lol

I found this part of the movie sad for Sitting Bull and his people because they had lost so much. The indigenous peoples of America are such resilient peoples. To have gone through genocide, forced marches, and the whole nine yards of modern-day systemic racism, they are people who are not only descendants of a proud and noble lineage but also representative of the strength, resilience and pride of nations.
Things did not go well for Catherine after Sitting Bull was killed. She had a very sad life. I don't think I can make it through this movie, well I can with two boxes of Kleenex. Michael and Jessica Chastain have a beautiful connection. Lovely, both of them.

Such as, “Stolen Woman, Captured Hearts, Crazy Horse,” and I particularly Love him in the role of Tarantula in the mini-series “True Women.” Watching a movie of his, he doesn’t have to say a word. You can see all his feelings & emotions in his eyes!! Thank you for posting this beautiful video!! Also, the song, “Wild Horses” is one of my all time favorites!!! A few years ago I watched this film during a flight to North Dakota. The next day synchronicity struck - while visiting the North Dakota Heritage Center in Bismarck, I saw the painting there on exhibit, slashed by a soldier on the day they murdered Sitting Bull.
The movie looks absolutely amazing yet so heartbreaking! So not ready for this, I'm not watching it 😭
