Creating a Stone with Substance Designer - E04

  • This tutorial will demonstrate how to create a realistic stone texture in Substance Designer using new Flood nodes, as well as combining and adding detail with noise, grunge, soil and colors. We'll start by creating a base shape for the stone using the Flood Fill node. Then we'll use the and Bevel nodes and ... to add detail. We'll add more depth and realism by adding noise, grunge, soil and colors. Finally, we'll use the Curve node to adjust the brightness of our final texture. By following this tutorial you will learn how to create a realistic stone texture in Substance Designer from scratch. This is an intermediate level tutorial but beginners can also follow along easily. So if you're ready let's get started!

      @@HamedaniCGI Take a close look at your rocks intersections. Single rocks kind of sticking one in another, it is a lot of visible collisions between single rocks so it looks unnatural.
