I read that in his voice 🤣
Ive learnt more about history from watching Pawn Stars than I ever did in high school 😄

Cause you didn't pay attention at school dummie 🤣
Don't believe everything you see online! 🤦
It's because teachers are boring and this isn't
I'd believe it based on your spelling of the word "learned."
"Let me call a friend of Da Vinci", Ezio walked in.

so when it comes to a true ac game it's not.
Leonardo: "who would be mad enough to do a thing like that"
Ezio: "Leonardo.. I think you just found your madman"
Rick has a tell. Whenever he says "Sweet" it means he would have paid more.
Its not really a tell if the deal is already made.
@@jacobsalasis you don't get the joke right?
That is the cue that the seller got robbed
The higher pitched the "sweet", the more he would have paid. 😂
Omg you’re so smart wow such an expert wow very impressive please leave some smarts for the rest of us wow a real intelectual

Thats the sound of him ripping people off.

Big time!
Usually yes. But this time... I think he was way too generous!
Now just let Chum test fly it! 😁
Believe it or not, no hatred for Chum, but I would love to see that!
Yahh
your request has been processed . please wait
I remember flying around on one of those in Assassin's Creed.
Yeah but there no way this is leonardo da vinci flying machine tbh. I mean something like this would be in a museum or lost tbh. Just seems unethical
@@johnnymoreno5065 it's just a model
@@johnnymoreno5065 They mean that it was one of his designs. This is just a reconsideration of one of his flying machines built in the 1950s.
When rick says sweet it means he scammed you. Hahaha 😂😂
Let me call my museum guy.... Ben Stiller walks in.
Lol
Never heard of her
the fact that someone like DaVinci was thinking about military aviation in the 1400s is just crazy impressive to me.

I dont get it someone explain
@@SSniperFly-lr7zb he's taking all the risk
Sounds so fun.
Rick always says things are junk until he gets them, then he tells the camera/other people how cool of a thing he got.
That's an insult to the Ornithopter community
Nice one.
All 2 of them
Hahahaha 😐
You work with this guy?
Haha. Shades of the Pez Community.
This should be in a museum.Period.
Why should it be in a museum? Period.
@Timothy Pickard it's really not though. The Indiana Jones reference and quote is "It belongs in a museum!"
I thought Mark already was ?!
Locutus 🙄🙄
@@Locutus because is a replica of Leonardo da Vinci flying machine, he was a genius for his time! (Curiosity in medival time your surname was given based from where are you from since he live in Vinci, nearby where I live, that's the reason for his surname)
Yeah I don't buy for a minute that Rick is actually lecturing the man on Da Vinci. Rick first heard this information probably like 20 minutes before filming.
I’m on the fence if he really knows or if it’s scripted. I do know he really does read a lot and studies a lot of subjects. That one did sound scripted.
Its all fake.
DaVinci: am I a joke to you?!
Is that a UFC championship belt at 4:24? I wonder who had financial trouble?
Probably someone who had addiction
My closed captions reads organic popper when Rick says ornithopter 🤣
"Sky high" 800 is not sky high
Ah I guess you know what click bait is
"let me call a friend of mine who knew Da Vinci"
Hey Desmond how's it going?
Desmond: Oh ya I remember this!!
Finally a recent upload
Models of DaVinci machines have been displayed in museums since the mid 1800s. So this may well have been a museum display at some point. Or perhaps from a university collection. There are examples of DaVinci models in quite a few science museums in Europe that I have seen. There was also a travelling exhibit of these machines that I saw in Las Vegas maybe 10 (?) years ago.
I’m from the UK 🇬🇧 and ain’t no way the uk could have a show like this... Rick and Huss and Chum are too unique
So Pawn Stars UK is not that good huh?
@@cohandora I don’t even know if there is one but no way it would be the same
Imagine corey
Love da Vinci! He’s the OG Renaissance man! 🪶🪶🪶
You know you've watched too many Pawn Stars episodes when you can tell straight from the start which expert is gonna get called.
i would love to see a movie about leonardo's life.
I was fortunate enough to get to view DaVinci’s personal journals at the Seattle Art Museum years ago. Couldn’t read them but it was still amazing to see them.
Back in the early 2000s, there was an enormous exhibition of Leoonardo works at the Met Museum in Manhattan. I spent over 30 hours total there... it was rough, crowds, elbows bumping, but the last day was supposed to be on a Saturday. As they were closing, one of the staff said they were extending it one more day. I went back ghe next day and had a great opportunity to really see the works without distractions. In the early 80s, I remember seeing Ginevra da Benci alone. It is incredible to see a Leonardo work just by yourself.
@@williamm374 yes. I saw them in the early 2000s too. We probably saw the same exhibit. It was really amazing seeing them in person. I love art and museums in general but seeing his journals in real life left me speechless.
I live in McMinnville Oregon. We have one at our Air & Space museum but it's quite a bit bigger than this one.
I’ve been to Leonardo’s house where he was born, just in the hills outside of Vinci Tuscany😎
Did I ask tho?
We need a closer look at the Schuetzen style target rifle at 2:20.
Rick always has some excuse why he isn't gonna pay asking price. The only thing I will say is is that guy didn't even haggle. He took the $800 and he seemed happy with that.
People like Rick are the reason Indians don't collect things they collect gold and only gold hahaha
We used to have a whole race of ricks haha
Rick got owned. Ornithopters actually cost 0.
Came here to make the same MTG reference.
Well this doesn’t deal with books but I’ll still watch.
Love pawn stars

Rick goes on a full on excursion into the history of ever item and the seller just like bruh give me a proce

I'll come back when the comments developed
Yoooo I saw this in assassins creed😂 amazing
Rick: I believe I can fly, ten-seconds later, the whole things collapse into pieces
Rick: 🙄🙄🙄

Because he's fat, I get it
Rick: I can guarantee you that I’m the only one on this block who has an ornothoptor
Ornothoptor’s R’ US (down the street): what are we a joke to you?!
Next scene: Chum lights it on fire to roast marshmallows in the storeroom.
Let me call me an old friend of mine.
Galeleo walks in.
This could be from the 1935 Rockefeller Center Leonardo da Vinci exhibition. There was a huge monograph published in conjunction with this exhibition. There was a similar exhibition in NYC in 1965, by IBM, which also included models. (PS, just checked the IBM exhibition catalog, no match).
Rick: "I can do $800 for the Mona Lisa. I gotta get it framed and I'm taking all the risk here."
Most stupidest comment on here lol 🤣
@@Cory_Peters512 I agree.
@@Locutus Patience people. Patience
@@mergru6371 What, for more stupid comments?
@Locutus Pretty sure we haven't seen the worst. It was not good, but also not thát bad, worthy starting the hatin' and all. The "best-I-can-do jokes" are not funny, but imagine Trevor being a kid.. Besides, what are your expectations in a Pawn stars UA-cam comment section?
The Ornithopter and Mr. Brown got along famously...
Legend has it ricks bought into a pharmaceutical company to deal with the amount of “headaches” that he buys when he lowballs sellers after sellers
I’d like to see it restored
This is one of the rare times where Rick is actually taking all the risk.
Uhm, the seller is a random Joe Schmoe that bought it on a whim, not much of a risk when you look at the facts. Not like he’s a museum guy, he was a regular guy that thought it was cool, which is probably the next person who will buy it.
@@britmturner843 What are the facts exactly? Buying a niche item without knowledge of an existing market in the hope that someone who thinks its cool will buy it is kinda high risk.
I’m just saying, it happened already…

Interesting how Da Vinci makes something so complicated and we make a Hang Glider which is much simple
I can guarantee you he is the only person in his neighborhood that has wanted a ornathopter

I wish the expert said it would be a lot more valuable if it worked.
"Can we take it to the range to try it out?"

When Rick doesn’t call an art guy run for the hills!
They should try editing some voices inside peoples heads when they are scratching their chin. This would be a great dramatical effect for the show.

For such a genius, I'm surprised Da Vinci didn't figure out the Hang Glider as it's such a simple elegant way to fly. Thicko! 🤣
The original Ornithopter design
How'd they bring it(the invention) inside?
Certified Gold!!!!!
Let me call a buddy who knows everything about anything... except it’s price.
He met all of his buddys at a local bar
Mark refuses to give Rick appraisals. He's a museum guy. He's just there to give some history and verify if an item is real. I'm sure he'd be more than capable of giving a rough value estimate if he wanted to.
Normal people : umm
Rick: aaahhhhmmm
Hoss Crartwright and Gillian actually used similar wings. 😳
I never knew Rick had an Hearing aid.
I saw an earpiece or hearing aid too.
Imagine selling or buying something in a shop just to be lectured about the items origin.
Rick calls Chumlee in to test fly it and Chum crash lands in the Bahamas lol
DaVinci is just one of those guys that just changed human history in such dramatic ways. DaVinci, Tesla, etc.
Yeah ones you see mark get called up you should just walk out lol
Rick bought a book with this drawing in it in the past…
Man: I'd like to get 2400 for my flying machine.
Rick: That's not gonna fly.
I'd pay an arm and leg to have this in my own library.
daVinci was a genius, my man invented the zip tie!
I want ricks laugh as a notification alert 😂
Well, the damage on it is due to Ezio crashing while trying to catch the guy on the horse before he escapes and you get Desychronized.
DaVinci also designed a turtle shell tank with like 16 cannons. A guy at my museum made a 1/3 scale replica.
So this Is what happened to the machine after I used It In AC2.
It would be cool if they actually took it for a spin.
One thing about ornithopters, they dont need to be man powered. They can be rubber, engine, motor driven, actuator driven, Etc... the main features are that the ornithopter has non-fixed wings and is intended to fly via flapping motion as a bird or flying insect would.
There have been many successful models made that work and fly amazingly, but few if any of what you'd call a full scale success. It just doesn't work so well when you scale it up to human carrying size. (Despite what Dune says ;) )
The government had one that was very similar to a dragonfly and held a small fpv camera for recon behing enemy lines. They've since changed to the micro helicopter design our troops now use. More robust and stable I guess.
En La Traduccion En Latino Es El Precio De la Historia
Y En Ingles Es Grandes Compradores
(O Algo Asi)
I'm surprised Rick did not have Chumley test it out .
I notice that its always "sweet" when Rick screws the person over.
Lol you know Ricks going to get a lot off that.

An ornithopter is a flying machine with flapping wings, it can be powered by anything. Come on “expert man”
